It's pretty annoying sometimes, especially when you want speedometer all the way down. Disabling hud also removes money, which isn't good in this case. Relevant Commands/Items make it one of the /hud options How will it benefit the server?: It'll just give people ability to remove it if they want to. 5 Link to comment

No, it's a really useful thing for, for example, admins who are dealing with clips in reports etc. - it helps to prove that it actually happened on prod server, it also helps with providing info about when did it happened, due to time visible there. If you really want it gone, use /immersive mode. Link to comment
