Equipping weapon doesn't pull it out.

Please re-read the thread, I don't think you understand. This isn't going to stop the /me from showing or anything of the sort. This is simply going to stop the /me, and the action of drawing your weapon when you equip the weapon from your inventory. Pulling the weapon script wise would then cause the /me. It doesn't dampen the situation at all. It just stops people from randomly pulling guns out anymore.

I agree. Equipping it OOCly is different then pulling it out ICly. If they limit the ame to be when you scroll to take out the weapon it be better, opposed to equipping it to your person.

 

When equipping it, it'd have to basically require you to /scroll/ to the weapon before it could be used though to prevent people taking advantage of this. So when you equip from inventory, you're not holding or scrolled to use said weapon. It's put in the holster or pants waistline and requires the player to use the weapon wheel to access it.
