In the context of heavy roleplay, as the server is characterized, I wholeheartedly agree with this. A problematic situation could occur in the case someone actually got spawned miles away from their houses or vehicles because of a bug (happened to me several times). However, in that case you could create new situations such as taking public transport or go hitchhiking and end up in an awkward situation.

I get the idea, but it wouldn't benefit the future of the server, especially when looking at the size of the map and how much time it takes you from X to Y. It would be a hell for new players to get to know the server without a 'free' car, unless there's a possibility to script a taxi which brings you to the DMV, but that would probably be too much of a hassle...

Well, I've experienced the exact same situation yesterday and after a few properties it is indeed driving you crazy. However, sometimes my character automatically freezes for a second or two, saving me to fall down through the interior. So... isn't this a thing already then?
