  5. Vicky's Town street gang is just one of many "sureรฑo" street gangs rooted in Eastern Los Santos. Founded originally in the early 1970s as a local female exclusive Mirror Park satellite crime cliqua by a woman named Victoria "Vicky" Beja which was named after the old local Mirror Park street "Victoria Street" that was known for its beautiful and scenic flower gardens and that nowadays holds the name "Bridge Street" after revitalization by the city council in the 1980s. It originally all started when Beja handpicked some of the poorest females in Mirror Park from broken family homes or distinguished poverty because she knew they wouldn't be loyal to her but to the dead presidents. The cliqua started off committing petty crimes and kept on evolving into more serious waters to increase cashflow in the neighborhood. Infamously known for wearing "chola clown" makeup which was forged and marginalized to commemorate the "Dia de los Muertos" aka "Day of the Dead" and embodies the remarkable strength and creative independence it takes to survive in a society where your social mobility has been thwarted by racism. The cliqua was called "Last Laugh" to emphasize and embody them getting the best of whoever was opposed and the last laugh that came with it tying back into the concept of the clown makeup worn. Moving into the 1980s it didn't take long for the group to establish more power and control over their territory. The surrounding gangs took note and it became known that whoever wanted to move their cash or any other sort of business through Mirror Park had to check in and get okayed by Victoria out of respect and fear at the same time. It didn't matter if you were a gang member or square resident, everything moved through Victoria from the local food lady selling Elotes by the pond to the drug deals going on behind doors thus dubbing the cliqua "Vicky's Town". Regression Nearing the end of the 1980s Victoria controlled a large portion of Mirror Park as her territory and had a lot of female street soldiers down for the cause, married to the money which is when she met her soon to be significant other & partner in crime Ernesto "Bumpy" Gonzalez a member of the Mexican Mafia aka La Eme. He was revered enough to create a pipeline from the prison's security housing units to Vicky's Town thus being the reason why Vicky's Town started gang banging under the "sureรฑo" banner, establishing a flag in stead of the incarcerated Mexican Mafia officials and thus having the prison faction infiltrate Vicky's Town successfully through Victoria and Ernesto's hearts & love. Shortly after the Mexican Mafia exercised their reign through Ernesto over Vicky's Town an internal democracy was rising from the female membership of the street gang about males controlling them and defeating the concept that Victoria made work for decades. Some were questioning Victoria being blinded by Ernesto's love and Victoria was quick to pick up on it and her eyes were opened. On a rainy September night in 1991 Victoria without telling anyone decided to take her beloved mole Ernesto out of the game by shooting him with a .38 Revolver between the eyebrows while he slept in her bed, taking her life right after next to him in the same said bed because she wasn't able to forgive herself for tainting what she worked so hard to build over the decades. Victoria's soul left her body on that night and Vicky's Town in flame. The key female figures of Vicky's Town gathered to make a decision on what the next move for the neighborhood was. It was an even split. One side wanted to honor Vicky's legacy and ideology, continue recruiting female members and fight back against the reign & tyranny of the Mexican Mafia while the other side feared retaliation for Ernesto's death due to the vast control and power the Mexican Mafia held over the "sureรฑo" street gangs. Ultimately there was no choice but to move forward, with Victoria now out of the picture, the gang started losing control over their territory and power in general due to the internal division in membership. Vicky's Town decided that they weren't bigger than the program and fell in line with the other "sureรฑo" street gangs. To fight back the loss of power & control, the gang started recruiting male Latino youth from their neighborhood amongst which were their sons and nephews alongside Latino migrants that were moving into Mirror Park. The female gang members that were part of the "Last Laugh" and now Vicky's Town were considered veteranas, founding membership and puppeteers of the scheme. They were teaching the male adolescent recruits how to respect women unlike other varrios at the time. Modern-day Till the present day the Vicky's Town street gang members have broken almost every law that there is. The primary source of income for the gang being residential burglaries which they were known for since the 1970s. A lot of members caught cases over the years which landed the gang on the radar of the Los Santos Police Department as a public hazard. The law has been cracking down on the Vicky's Town gang over the last decade with a heavy hammer of justice. Presumably over one thousand affiliated members have been arrested from the year 2000 to the year 2023. The most recent and notable Wendy Perez which hit the Los Santos News' Wednesday's Wanted special. Wendy Perez, allegedly a daughter of one of the founding female members of the Vicky's Town gang didn't go down easy. She was caught after three months of being on the run. Today the gang's roots stretch deep in the community and their influence is vast. They took a major blow from law enforcement over the years which vastly famished their numbers, but they are according to the LSPD as ruthless as they were before.
