  1. If all the LSPD started doing was responding to calls with people that require medical attention, would we push for renaming of the LSPD to the LSFD? Just because you believe SAPR doesn't do anything but respond to county calls doesn't mean they were intended to do nothing but respond to county calls.
  2. This. SAPR was intended to be a faction about creating unique roleplay. Unique roleplay traditionally doesn't have many participants because it'd otherwise be mainstream and a ton of people would be doing it! It'd be silly to convert SAPR to a third LSPD/LSSD just for SAPR to have "something to do" Highway patrol on the other hand is something that is very not unique. Both the LSPD/LSSD do the exact same things that a potential SAHP faction would do, and it would be silly to take away the unique and quality opportunities that SAPR has just because some people don't like the roleplay that it was intended to prioritize in, and would rather do something more "traditional" in terms of roleplay without going through the effort to simply get double faction permissions, or leave the faction in order to join the LSPD/LSSD.
  3. +1! I don't agree with making it just a script to get a license, but the one lesson idea is very good!
  4. What you're speaking of is exactly what I mean! I'm glad we can agree 🙂
  5. Detailed Description The title of this topic is pretty much exactly what I am referring to. The current /fine and /vfine script that LEOs have access to allows for nothing more than a citation amount and law broken to be written which doesn't really match up with what happens in the real world, and I believe it limits non-LEO players in their understanding of citations they receive in specific situations. The script I'm requesting basically calls for a note-like image to be received along with the standard /fine citation that players can view for a deeper understanding of what they're receiving. The image would work like the /badge script, which offers players a department-specific badge image displayed on their screen, as well as the standard /badge name and number they receive in the chatbox. I'm not a developer myself, but I don't think it would be too hard to make this script that would allow customizable images in game (just like notes) using CEF (I think?) to write out more detailed, realistic and elaborate citations, instead of simply referencing the penal code and giving an amount to players when they view /fines. Relevant Commands/Items /fine /vfine (preexisting) /viewfine (opens image of citation) How will it benefit the server? This new feature would allow LEOs to provide more elaborate explanations on fines received, similar to how they are written on players' MDCs. The current system we have allows only LEOs to view elaborate reasons people have received citations, but not so much for players. A good example of this would be with vehicle fines. In the real world, when a parking ticket is received, the reason would be "left wheel to curb" for example, and reading this on a citation received would allow for a quick and easy understanding of the situation, however, in game - players randomly see a /vfine pop up, and they are only provided with the penal code and price, but no backstory to aide in their understanding of why the fine was received. The inclusion of this new image feature would allow for more clarity for players, and perhaps allow for an ease in fighting "bullshit" tickets in situations where players would have otherwise simply paid due to the fact that, to understand a citation currently, an individual would have to start a case to simply see what is pinned against them, especially in situations of parking tickets where the players were not present while they received their fine.
  6. I completely agree with the suggestion of adding a fire alarm system to the server. It would be a great addition and would give players more opportunities for active roleplay, especially for State Fire Marshals. The different tiers of alarms and varying chances of the alarm going off or triggering a false alarm would make it even more interesting and realistic. I think that this would be a great addition to the server and would benefit everyone! +1
  7. No longer searching. L&A Please
  8. Name a better and more community oriented faction. I'm not inciting violence, but I'm just here to let everyone know we are the best. 😁
  9. What everyone above said, you'd realistically be flying across the country, and there's no way this would happen instantaneously. -1
  10. Looking to purchase a home anywhere north of LS. Harmony, Sandy Shores, Paleto Bay, etc. Interested in all locations. Let me know!
  11. I definitely agree that it could somehow be incorporated into trucking. A really cool integration of this could potentially have the script job fueling available food supplies that could then be shipped to businesses - and a shortage of roleplay in the factory would mean a shortage of supplies for businesses to be able to /createitem with. However, I feel like this would need a whole revamp with the way food producing businesses get supplies, and more importantly, how often they need to receive deliveries to stay afloat.
  12. Detailed Description As far as my knowledge goes, the Paleto Bay Chicken Factory is a completely unutilized structure in the heart of the tiny town of Paleto Bay that holds a very great potential for intimate roleplayers. I feel some sort of script job, akin to those in the city with the garbage trucks and postal vans would greatly benefit roleplay within Paleto Bay and the countryside in general, alongside providing a new unique job to newer players. While I am not completely certain as to what this job could entail, it could maybe deal with a custom script combining both roleplay through /me's within the factory, and maybe something like forklift driving within it. Relevant Commands/Items N/A (whatever fits the description) How will it benefit the server? It will expand the availability of roleplay, and put some players out into the typically dead countryside town of Paleto. While it has had its ups in terms of activity, it seemingly has been on the leeward side of fruition. I've seen many people roleplay their characters as industrial workers who work in Paleto, so it would definitely be great to have real utilization out of the concept!
