  8. I agree with this. However, in reality, most people don't. They labour 18-hour shifts as a trucker and then act like they don't have an existential crisis within themselves, or even a minor load of stress or exhaustion from working long shifts.
  9. Now, how about increasing the demand for narcotics on the server? All I've been hearing are complaints about people struggling to find narcotics consumers. Instead, it's dealers selling to dealers and then selling them to more dealers.
  10. How else shall this server increase the demand for narcotics consumers, then? Every one is a perfect super-human capable of labouring 18-hour trucking shifts without undergoing an existential crisis within them. Issue is, that's most of this server... they claim "just RP it" but a good chunk of them fall under this category.
  11. This is the only game that I play, now, and it would not be this amazing without the astonishing administrators and supporters of this server. Much appreciated.

  13. But, we also have people continuously complaining about not being able to sell their narcotics to USERS, alongside with people complaining about players continuously grinding scripted jobs as-if they are super-human. Personally? I am content with the current system. However, I've witnessed thousands of complaints on this issue, and found this to be a realistic solution to this system. Grinding scripted jobs is R.P.G.-like, yet it exists. Why not apply an R.P.G. element that DOESN'T involve NPCing dealers and users to benefit illegal RPers?🙂 Edit: This suggestion seems to enhance character development and continuity in a realistic manner, as people clearly are not realistically RPing the effects of trucking an 18 hour shift or RPing narcotics addiction. It's a MAJOR "Risk v. Reward System", where one has to choose to either A) R.P. outside of their scripted jobs or B) Consume narcotics to lower their stress, with potentially undergoing an addictive state of mind that could actually lead to bankruptcy. One would have to micro-manage their stress and addiction levels, effectively, to maximize their output. This wouldn't be a solution if people were to actually portray their characters effectively. People labouring three jobs with three different companies and they're living life, happily, when they should actually be stressed beyond comprehension. Clearly, it hasn't, as we have people trucking 18-hour shifts without any in-character stress and a massive supply of narcotics with no demand from CONSUMERS. Addiction wouldn't even exist if people decided to undergo a break from their grindy scripted jobs to interact with people outside of the workplace. If they really need to grind? Smoke that spliff... sniff that line... be aware of narcotics abuse. Heck, sniffing one line won't harm a character as long as they don't make it a habit.
  14. Short description: Characters should have a "stress system", identical to an addiction system, that affects how much wealth they earn while labouring on their shift, as stress often reduces productivity, forcing them to either A) Take time off of work to SLOWLY decrease their stress levels or B) Consume narcotics as a means towards reducing stress. Detailed description: Within GTA: W, we have a low demand for narcotic consumption and a high-demand for grinding scripted jobs to maximize income. To combat against this issue, a "stress system" should be introduced as a means towards either increasing narcotic consumption or decreasing the grinding of scripted-oriented labour. Every time that a person conducts a scripted job, a timer is activated, causing one's stress levels to rise, overtime. Increased stress generally results in a lower level of productivity, causing the outputs to be minimal compared to a stress-free person. Mistakes will be made in the workplace, causing players to have deductions off of their pay. I.E. Stressed out? Maybe, you accidentally split a pot of coffee on the ground or messed up an order at he bar... these mistakes or damages would be reduced from your paycheque. After all, a happy worker is often a productive worker, while a stressed-worker is more than likely to be counter-productive or under-productive. This would result in earning LESS wealth, per hour (or per task), due to the high amount of stress. I.E. A person with a stress level of "Ten" would earn $3000 an hour rather than $4000 an hour. To counter-act this, one must undergo several options: A) Take time off of work in order to lower one's stress levels at a lower rate, or B) Consume narcotic substances as a means towards rapidly reducing one's stress levels, identical to the "addiction system", in-which one LOSES 1 or more stress points depending on the substance that they consume. Many individuals may claim "This is unfair, I should not have to consume narcotics in order to reduce my stress and earn a regular income". Simply put, you don't have to. To decrease one's stress levels, one should engage in activities that exceed beyond scripted labour. This could include, but is not limited to, jogging, socializing, playing sports, dancing, listening to music etc... Overtime, the player's stress levels would decrease as they interact with the world OUTSIDE of their scripted job, expecting players to actually R.P. beyond their grindy scripted jobs. However, if you want to be super-man and super-woman in the workplace, you'll more than likely resort to desperate measures in order to reduce stress and increase your productivity within the workplace. You'll probably smoke a joint to overcome the burden of work, or even sniff a line in the washroom after a stressful encounter, to increase your productivity and lower your stress. Now, with narcotics being in your system, players will eventually gain a tolerance towards certain substances. One day, one gram of marijuana would be able to reduce your stress, completely. However, over-time, as your "addiction level" or "tolerance" rises, you will be expected to consume more marijuana in over to overcome stress within the workplace. Something that took "one spliff" might take "several spliffs", as your body and mind is already too tolerant towards simply overcoming stress with one gram of marijuana. Maybe, you might need ten spliffs, a day, to overcome this stress, as your tolerance level has sky-rocketed to the roof. But, guess what? One gram of cocaine will surely make you more productive and confident in the workplace. Unfortunately, being dependent on this substances, will, of course, lead to using this item on an hourly basis to maintain that level of confidence. Eventually, you might think "Well, I heard that methamphetamine has the similar effects to cocaine, but it's more stronger and longer-lasting"... one gram of meth manages to replace the need to use ten grams of cocaine. Of course, your addiction to that substance would rise, making it harder to cope with the workplace. And to think... you could've just taken one or two days off of work. Instead, you went down this path, and you're now scrambling for pennies to pay for that addiction that you're struggling to kick. Instead, you chose to be super-man... money-hungry... restorting to narcotics as a means towards reducing stress because you wanted "that extra cash in the moment". You wanted to truck 18 hours a day, instead of taking a break like a normal human... you wanted to be super-man. Now? Look at you... "You'z nothin' but a junky, nigga". Please, examine the following thread, as it should be applied to this system in order to ensure that narcotics addiction is roleplayed, effectively: If this is too R.P.G. like, then why aren't YOU roleplaying realistically, to begin with? (((Not all of you. But, you know who you are 😉 ))). Commands to add: Stress Levels + Decreased Paycheque depending on stress levels + Decreased stress by interacting with the world beyond scripted jobs OR by using narcotics. Items to add: How would your suggestion improve the server?: Prevents people from non-stop grinding on the server AND increases the demand for narcotics CONSUMPTION. Additional information:
