Slang is okay, but letting it influence your grammatical punctuation and capacity to put together coherent sentences in /me's should be forbidden. You should adhere to the syntax of the language, otherwise you are mixing IC with OOC. /Me's exist to give other players around you an indicator of your character's action, thus it should be clear and concise and not filled with pidgin English. You are not suited for roleplay if you are incapable of keeping the two separate.

Please don't strawman. No one stated that Americans do not grasp the political process in the US. I expected a substantiated answer in regards to the claim that we do no grasp the political discourse in the US. I find it rather silly that a certain segment would state such an asinine statement when we haven't even facilitated our roleplay yet, it is the equivalent of me accusing someone of being inept at Sicilian Cosa Nostra roleplay when the faction was just made. I have no authority to make such claim, because I have nothing to substantiate it around, because no roleplay has taken place. The faction thread has merely been made and made official. A specific segment then proceeded to state that our party did not grasp the political discourse, despite the fact that no roleplay has taken place. We must assume then, that this said segment are basing their presumptions based on the thread, primarily the naming of the faction, therefore it can be concluded that these said individuals are apolitical, since their analysis is only based on the name. Henning has still yet to procure an actual argument, but chose to pivot, strawman and utilize ad hominem. What have we half-assed? We are inspired by various conservative thinkers, our fiscal policies is inspired by the Austrian and Chicago School of Economics. Socially we are aligned with conservative values, such as protecting the nucleus family and safeguarding normalcy, hence the word "Conservative" meaning to conserve values. I will not expend anymore energy on this matter, as I think it has been derailed enough and it should return to it's topic of debate. If anyone feels displeased or is worried about our political endeavor then they are welcome to PM me. The only criteria I have is that they make an actual argument instead of simply stating one postulation after the other. I see a lot of people stating that it doesn't work this way in the real world, yet I see no procurement of factual basis for said premises. In actuality it does in fact work this way in the real world, hence the scarcity principle. People already partially, and naturally adhere to this process in regards to the prices of illegal firearms on the server. From my understanding the procurement of illegal firearms is prefixed by FM, thus FM controls the scarcity of firearms and thereby the inflow of components for said firearms. People in the illegal sphere is forced to adhere to this scarcity, thus the fluctuation of firearm prices and it's value. There are plenty of cities in the US which are export cities, meaning their "balance of payment" exceeds that of their import. That is not the point however, the point is that the economy is an intricate and complex machinery, which is all based around the human psyche. While there exist no city which is an autarky (to my knowledge), it doesn't mean that they do not hold industrial, farming and service related jobs. This can be seen in the US by a quick glance at the concept of U.S. Districts, House Representatives, US Senators and their promises to their constituents to fight on their behalf in Washington. All of this can be implemented, hence the theory behind macro and micro economics. The question is just how complex you are willing to make it, thereby removing more of the micro-management aspect. Another mention of an additional economical variable introduced on the server is mileage on cars, thereby ensuring another layer of immersion is added by creating a deteriorating mechanism.

I admire your ambitions and passion to bring the quality of the roleplay up, but you have to realize the vast majority of players are apolitical and cannot be bothered. They merely want to roleplay LEO or something within the illegal sphere. They have no interest in such undertaking and will most likely meet you with opposition. I think a middle ground needs to be reached so you can get these apolitical individuals on-board with this endeavor. Hopefully in due time, if it does succeed, we can slowly implement more variables as the majority sees it as an benefit rather than an nuisance of an obstacle.

Creating actual physical attributes inside the game, instead of it merely being spawned in is essential for an immersive economy. It would also greatly help reduce the need for micro-management. The economy has always failed in the numerous communities i've been in, because it does not adhere to the scarcity principle. There is no need to, since you can spawn things into existence of out of nothing. It is fundamentally flawed when dealing with the human psyche.

I am in the process of making a political party. We are simply awaiting the final verdict from Faction Management. Hopefully our party can solve this echo chamber issue.

Although perhaps a bit unconventional I propose we garner our attention primarily on Discord, in terms of revitalizing the political discourse. Permit some of the governance to take place on Discord, so people at a moment's notice can pitch in. Hopefully this way, although a lack of people we can make things run more smoothly. Focus on the IG stuff primarily for newly introduced legislation and to create RP events.

Very good point. Also the current political climate looks like an echo chamber since both party favors legalized marijuana and liberalize the restrictive gun control laws. IMO it seems like a way to appeal to the largest segment possible, throwing away any real political convictions and principles.
