I don't see an issue with it, I like it the way it is right now because it stops people from metagaming nametags. You don't always know who's talking on the other end and if you end up passing it away to too many people there's a chance that strangers get into this frequency, this sounds more like an IC issue imo. I'd like to see some changes to the radios themselves though, perhaps make them an IG item in order to make them useable and/or give them a certain amount of range depending on which type of radio you own, maybe make them a little bit difficult to obtain too because right now you see way too many people using them in every occasion and let's be real, which one of y'all walks around the city constantly muttering into their radio to their friends or even own a really good one to begin with unless you work in a company which actually makes use of them.

You missed the point, it's not /necessarily/ about the rent system (even though it can still be easily abused by landlords renting out the properties), it's about rich characters living in the south that don't belong into the south. Why would some rich business owner walking around in a suit buy a house in the south even though his car is probably more worth than the entire house? It's a gang infested area but sadly they don't have to be afraid of anything else IC other than getting robbed for up to 5k or perhaps just get pk'd at worst. Just last week or so I've seen a house in Rancho with multiple 200k+ cars parked up out front. And apart from that, there are also people living in the south who don't even RP around said houses or keep it while living somewhere else just to flip it for profit after 14 days or w/e just being completely useless, not even setting it up for rent, hindering other player's RP who want to RP around the house's neighborhood. People seem to forget that they don't have to own a house somewhere, in fact like someone before me already said, most people in LA live in apartments and there's plenty of them still up for sale/rent.

This thread will be following the development and the struggles of Catalina 'Cat' Castillo, a 16 year old teenager of Hispanic descent growing up in a neighborhood mostly dominated by black people. She is currently living with her white alcoholic stepdad, her mother passed away a couple of years ago shortly after they immigrated to the States. Her Mexican origin and the struggles she has been through in the past and goes to right now due to her abusive stepdad make things quite difficult for her. With no income on her own and her stepdad often out working minimum wage they struggle to survive, even more so with the bad habits her stepdad is coming with and the little freedom and attention he is giving to her.

I'd rather see some sort of phone group chat like we have on Facebrowser than having people walking around everywhere with radios and also like Marksman said, having people use radios and rp it as if they're sending a text in a group message sounds stupid. You either have a radio on you or you don't.
