From: Dharavi, Mumbai, India.

 

Baashir was born into the slums of Dharavi in Mumbai along with his four other siblings. He had a poor upbringing but managed to scrape a living selling old computer parts and driving people as a Taxi driver. His mother was from Pakistan originally with his father being of Indian origin which is a very rare occurrence and often leads to certain dualities in Baashir as he is torn between both cultures though he chooses mainly to follow his Indian heritage due to the will of his father. He eventually managed to gather enough money together to make it to new Delhi and make a family of his own with his wife and six kids. Struggling to support his family still, he chose to try his luck in America so he can support his family with American wealth, with determination to become a successful business man. Baashir could be described as a very awkward and eccentric man with a poor education but has a certain resilience and determination to him, not afraid to talk with people and get involved in things.
