Just avoid these types of roleplayers then. Do you know what I do? I simply avoid them, and at the end of the day, it is an IC issue, not an OOC one.

I can find within less than a minute instagram accounts of people that drive better cars than this daily, what's your point? There's no real middle class because there server has 180-270 players during peak times, in the USA the population is about 332 million, that's why the middle class exists.

Cops should be afraid to go into impoverished neighborhoods and the penalty should be a straight up CK then too - or how about arresting high ranking organized crime figures and then going about their day? Shouldn't the cops expect a drive-by with AK's after they've dropped the high ranking cartel boss / organized crime boss in prison? MakeThingsFairAgain - 2020!

Woah, the naivete here is astounding. Let's say you want to do a drive-by on an enemy gang turf, right? All you have to do is type the long ass /me's a block away while going full-speed with the car, and if they ask whether you did a /me it's gonna be right there in the logs. You don't even need a triple digit IQ to figure that out. The rules are fine the way they are.

You claim that a player shouldn't be allowed to escalate to killing over a situation that their character wouldn't realistically have killed someone over it. How can you know someone's character or what their character has been through?
-
I've been robbed many times, and I take it ICly every time, unless someone outright deathmatches someone or does something very serious, I don't see the point of being mad over a video game.

If you want such a thing enforced, then it should go both ways for it to be fair, cops shouldn't hop from shootout to shootout when one single shootout puts cops on a temporary leave and through multiple psychiatric evaluations in real life. Likewise, if you want criminals to be CKed when they roleplay dying due to a shootout with the cops, then cops should CK when they die in a shootout by a criminal. You can't have the cake and eat it too.

This would quickly turn the server into Owlgaming, which has what, 50 players during peak times? Maybe 60? It's not worth it, I like the 250+ playerbase and I am sure everyone here does too.
-
I don't agree with it, if you believe that someone overreacted in a situation then you are welcome to post a report, right?
-
So you are essentially forcing players to roleplay surviving, right?
-
I agree with you Ethanol, but we have to think about the server as well, even though some players would like CKs to be more frequent, we know that it's a risky move and it has the potential to not pay off the way it would be expected to, right?
-
I wouldn't agree with something like this at all, for the simple fact that many players will not like it. Imagine becoming a well known and powerful character and then getting CK'ed, would you really start all over if you've spent 5-6 months developing that character?

You didn't understand my point, I am not supporting this suggestion, that's why I made up the mentally ill example above, to illustrate that the common courtesy rule is enough.
