Altering Mapping Rules

As a mapper, I've not had any problems with realistic mapping to the building with windows and doors in mind, nor would I want a change here. Part of the fun with mapping is getting to match the interior to the exterior of the building. Owners should choose buildings that match their mapping plan and make it work. I had no issues getting all of the windows inside of my business including the multiple garage doors inside and still making it look unique for my theme while matching the exterior 1:1.

I actually prefer to have my interior 1:1 including windows, doors, size, etc. I don't worry about vents or small things like that. I prefer my interior to feel like it actually fits in the space. Any exterior can fit concept depending on layout, decorations, etc.

I think that sums it up. There will be no changes to the mapping rules, there's no need.

 

- Pick suitable buildings.

- Match the exterior features as best as you can.

- Match the size and shape as best you can.

- Refer to the mapping rules or a PM admin for assistance if you're not sure.
