You can now purchase max trucking rank, is this not pay to win?

Detailed Description

I noticed while doing some trucking on one of my characters that they added an automated message every delivery that if you don't want to grid, you can now purchase trucking ranks on the world point shop. I didn't believe it at first until I went to check and seen it costs 1000 World Points.

 

I personally have grinded for about a year to get to 1000 deliveries, not that it really matters but I am more concerned about the fact on a heavy roleplay server that you can PURCHASE ranks for gain.

How will it benefit the server?

 

Remove a pay to win feature that makes the server look bad.

it's just as pay to win as paying to gain access to business blips that are proven to drive up the foot traffic to your business and, thus, profits (if you're selling something).

 

all it does is give you the ability to make money faster, exact same as the blips.

As you said, it's just time you're buying. It's pay to get your rank faster and access different trucks, if for you doing 1000 deliveries is a "win" then in that case yes.
