You can still purchase codes on Gamepoints and they'll remain valid (at the old price), but Kinguin allows you to pay with Paypal at the same price as other payment methods, which is a 30% price decrease for some packages. You can also pay with many other payment methods! We've decided to do this change for two reasons : 1) The price decrease for all our community using Paypal 2) Their close relationship & interest with our project, as they are offering us regular events & rewards to give out to the entire community What are these events in the weeks to come? First, the faction video competition will include a 7000 WP reward thanks to them as they're fully sponsoring the event! Secondly, special codes to get discount on your World Points purchases. The code to use this month is 14EOM and is valid until the end of the month for up to 6 usage! Then they're going to be offering a total of 500€ worth of World Points to random players who purchased WP on their website from the 27/06 to the 04/07. There are many codes to receive, and using the statistics from last week you have approximately 10% chance per purchase to receive a code! Obviously the more you spent the more chance you'll have to receive a code, if you spend 50€ you'll have 10x more chance than if you had taken a 5€ package. To sum it up, this means that if you purchase World Points on Kinguin this week, you can use the 14EOM code (until the 30/06) to get a 14% discount (up to 6 usage), and you'll have a chance to receive 375 additionnal World Points per purchase!
