Statement of Assistant Attorney General Francis Sullivan on Jacqueline Keating's Death

Assistant Attorney General Francis Sullivan 3987-3294

LOS SANTOS – Earlier this week Deputy District Attorney Jacqueline Keating of the Los Santos County District Attorney's Office was fatally shot in front of the Greg E. Joplin State Courthouse while conducting her duties as a state prosecutor. Keating was a veteran of the District Attorney's Office, where she served the State and people of San Andreas for nearly four years, and was extremely dedicated to her work. Keating will be remembered as a true public servant. By order of Governor Robert Brandt, all United States flags within the State of San Andreas shall be flown at Half-Staff immediately through sunset on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 to honor the legacy of Jacqueline Keating.

Assistant Attorney General Francis Sullivan released a personal statement on behalf of the Office of the Attorney General; " Wednesday, March 17th will be remembered as a solemn and infamous day in the history of the State of San Andreas. Jacqueline Keating, an impartial servant of the people of San Andreas had her life brutally taken away from her while in the line of her duties outside of a public building. I offer a stern warning for those who have committed this heinous act, and those who may plan to preform any such act in the future. You will be found and will prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."
