They provide factual information, talk shows, and more! Weazel News has been bought out by Jake Leon, who is the current CEO. Currently Jake Leon is working on reopening the Weazel News' channel, and its online website for the public. He is currently looking for backers who might be willing to donate to the company in an exchange for stock, or a job offer as well. Our Plan Our plan with Weazel News is to spread the truth throughout the whole San Andreas. We want to let the public know what is going on in their neighborhoods. We plan to do this by making online videos, and online articles that will be free to the public. Headquarters The Weazel news headquarters is located in Little Seoul, Los Santos. This is the current HQ that is being used by Weazel News. We are open from 6 AM to 9 PM everyday. Vehicles Weazel News uses only a few vehicles which includes a Bravado Rumpo and a Buckingham Maverick currently. (Pictures below) Bravado Rumpo - Equipped with Camera equipment in the back. Buckingham Maverick - Equipped with a camera on the front of the helicopter that can be controlled by a passenger. Careers Here at Weazel News we support anyone trying to become a journalist. We have an intern program for college students. The current Hierarchy is listed below. (SUBJECT TO CHANGE) Listed above is the hierarchy between departments and management, starting from the top the jobs will be described for the specific department/leadership position below. Management Management controls the hiring, firing, and internals of Weazel News. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) The CEO of Weazel News has final say on every decision that effects the company's well being/view to the public as well as internal decisions/affairs. The CEO is also the head of Human Resources. Often known for their name and their job title not who they are and what they do, because they are only taking action when its needed. The CEO controls the businesses' virtue, plans, visions, etc. Human Resources (HR) Human Resources controls the hiring, firing, and Public Relations within Weazel News. The head of HR is the CEO, in which the CEO handles any issues within the company, and any public relation issues that are major. Other than that any minor Public Relations or company issues are done by HR who then runs it by the CEO. Public Relations (PR) is a subdivision in HR who deals with any issues, statements, and general public issues. Public Relations (PR) Public Relations oversees any statements made to the public that could effect the well-being of the company, then approves or denies it. Chief Operating Officer (COO) The COO is the CEO's right hand man. The COO looks over the operations in the company and reports to the CEO if there are any company changing decisions, departmental issues, etc. The COO also makes decisions within the company in leadership, after given permission by the CEO. Production The Production department contains all of Weazel News' reporters, editors, and writers. The people in this department are the guts of the company, who provides all information, talk shows, etc. Production Manager The Production Manager oversees the reporters and editors and maintain quality control between the departments. They report to either the CEO or COO gaining permission to post the final product. Editor The editors oversee all work done by the Reporters, and edits any errors, spelling/grammar mistakes, etc. Then passes it on to the Production Manager. Reporter The Reporters are where the majority of the jobs are. They find the stories, report them, and write them. This consists of Anchors, Writers, and Radio Hosts/Talk Show Host. Security Security oversees the safety during on field interviews, filming, and photography. They also watch over Weazel News' building. They are REQUIRED during any type of on field events. Freelance Freelancers are not paid by salary, they are paid by what they submit. This is the first job for everyone in Weazel News, you are a freelancer for a two week period as an evaluation. Marketing The Marketing department deals with all business advertisements. They run through everything with a member of HR who deals with Public Relations. Marketing Manager The Marketing manager oversees all advertisements and promotions. They work closely with the Graphic Design Manager and the Production Manager. Marketer The Marketers take care of all advertisements and promotions. They send all inquiries and their marketing plan to the Marketing Manager. Graphics The Graphics division deals with creating, fixing, and maintaining quality within any Production such as Marketing campaigns, news articles, talk shows, news videos, etc. Graphic Design Manager The Graphic Design Manager oversees each graphic request & submission, before anything from the Graphics department goes to any other department, a Graphic Design Manager has to approve it. They work closely with the Marketing Manager and the Production Manager. Graphic Designer The Graphic Designers makes designs/artwork from the request of other departments. They get a graphic design request and attempt to create to their best ability what has been requested. After they make the graphic design its submitted to the Graphic Design Manager for approval. Production Process The production process consists of the Researching, Writing, Editing, and Approval. Researching The Researching process is probably the longest process that happens. It starts with a reporter finding a story, getting details, and completing interviews. Writing The Writing Process is the second process where the reporter actually writes the article. Once writing the article, the reporter submits it to begin the editing process. Editing The Writing Process is done by the Editors to check for spelling/grammar mistakes, and any errors. Then sent to the Production Manager to be re-checked and ready for approval. Approval The Approval Process could possibly be the longest process, its all depending on whoever is available. This process is first completed by the Production Manager, then moved onto Public Relations, the CEO, or COO. Let's throw 45,000 down the drain with no numbers to back up the fact that it gets seen. Companies are generally ran with a lot more structure, where the decisions are usually backed up by numbers. It was more of a calculated risk, the numbers are there. FaceBrowser has almost 300 users, and is a well known service ICly. If it weren't such ICly known we wouldn't have poured money into it. Sometimes you have to make calculated risks to go somewhere with a business.
