Wilmer Huerta was born August 16, 2004 to his parents Victoria Huerta and Eduardo 'Tez' Montez. Eduardo Montez was imprisoned in the late 90's following the end of the war with The Mexican Mafia. A week before being tried and sentenced for a fluke armed robbery, Eduardo, only 19 years old, impregnated Victoria, 17, for the first time. 9 months later, in the Spring of 1999, Victoria gave birth to Eduardo Montez Jr while Montez Sr served his sentence. Six years later, in December of 2004, after being released for only a month, Eduardo Montez was sentenced to life for the murder of Miguel Colonia on the suspicion that he had been sleeping with Victoria during Eduardo's incarceration. However, during her boyfriend's time back, Victoria was knocked up again- though it is not certain who the father was. 9 months later, Wilmer Huerta, who was given his mother's last name due to the mystery behind the real father, was born.

Despite the possibility of not having the same father, Eduardo Jr and Wilmer were close. Their relationship being most attributed to the slow but steady decline in their mother's presence in their lives. Victoria's mother lived with the three in El Burro Heights and continued working to provide for the brothers as their mother was consumed by a heroin addiction.

Without a father figure or much of a mother figure, Eduardo Jr began spending time around the neighborhood with his friends. It was at a young age that Eduardo began smoking weed and drinking with the homeboys around Hillside and by the time he was 15, he was selling drugs as a corner man. Two years later though, only weeks after turning 18, Eduardo was arrested and jailed during a relatively large drug deal that his homeboy pulled him into. This left younger brother Wilmer, now 12 years old, alone with his grandmother and degenerate mother. For the next three years, Wilmer would hangout with his friends, rarely attend school, and begin smoking weed and drinking around the neighborhood.

Now, in 2019, Wilmer is two months from his 15th birthday and his lack of a father figure and his troubled home is pushing him more and more towards a life of crime in El Burro. Though he has not officially begun to participate in any serious crime, he is en route to being another statistic.
