This thread follows Alan Mitchell, Former 3rd Cavalry member, specifically 3rd Squadron, otherwise known as "Thunder". He served during Operation Inherent Resolve in 2018, which was a "Coalition mission to defeat ISIS as a military force on the battlefield in Iraq and Syria." Alan would serve 2 tours before entering his "Retirement" due to early-on Arthritis in his left knee, due to an IED attack during his last tour.
