[MODDING] Graffiti system but with images

Detailed Description:

I'd love to see the implementation of the /graffiti system but with imgur links, similar to information markers - but the image simply appears in-game.

 

This would be really awesome for murals, custom walls inside businesses, homes and even make art galleries more interesting too. We would no longer have to rely entirely on modders adding more wall art props into the server. Instead we could just put up a frame/canvas and simply project our own images onto them. It would be even more awesome as we could either go into someone's space and put our /artwork down, OR we can give the imgur link to someone else and they can do it themselves.

 

Relevant Commands/Items:

Unsure about the technical aspects of this, but:

• /artwork command
• Controls the same as the /graffiti ones
• An imgur input box just like with phone wallpapers

 

How will it benefit the server?

A few things I think will really spice up the server and be appreciated by a lot of people:

• Enables people to project actual LOGOS for their brands, rather than just /graffiti text - making the server overall way more immersive
• Even more creativity will be seen across the server, at a glance with no need to use /cim and HOPE people walk up to it
• More RP opportunities for artist characters
• Generally more enriching for those who really enjoy aesthetics in their RP

 

To combat potential performance issues, set a limit to the MB and dimensions of the images you can upload.

As much as this would add a lot to the graffiti and is a good idea, I fear it would be abused too easily as DasFroggy has mentioned. If it were added, it would have to be an approval-based thing where the image is reviewed before being posted.

I mean, the only difference between this and the current /cim system is that you have to take one extra step to go and look at it. What's currently stopping people from putting pornographic or obscene content in /cims? Nothing - just admins. And IDK but I've never seen any info markers that had that, personally. I think the pros outweigh the cons. IDK how admins currently monitor info markers but they are doing a decent job.

We can't render 3D browser object (like image on the wall), so it's not possible.
