THE KEY MOB

Hnet.com-image_2.gifNothing But Hustlers, an elusive group of criminals, in which was led by Dean'  D' Fletcher and his first cousin, Torian 'SK' McClain. The group's reign began in the year 2020, which embarked on the journey of what could be considered the pinnacle of the criminal underworld within Los Santos or the West Coast as a whole. Nonetheless, their widespread influence and intimidation came to a staggering halt at the beginning of 2022. Like many preceding criminal organizations, this one was very much short-lived. In the midst of their prominence, Dean maintained excruciatingly deep ties with one of the most violent prison gangs, one that oversaw those in the streets. Within this prison organization, Dean was seen as one of the most influential individuals who garnered respect from those inside his demographic of denizens. What's distinctive about his leadership is that, during this time, they'd been responsible for dozens of homicides all over Los Santos. This ranged from the slums of South Central to the lavishly catered streets of Vinewood. They'd also be responsible for several high-end ransom kidnappings, criminal extortion, racketeering, money laundering, and the trafficking of firearms and a variety of narcotics.

giphy.gifIt was hard not to notice Fletcher's rise to power; a significant reason behind his rise to infamy had been his ability to outsource and his knack for working with other peculiar but neighboring criminal organizations. This would include The Conti Crime Family, Aryan Brotherhood, and Eurasian Organized Criminal groups. McClain served as an enforcer and assassin for Nothing But Hustlers. He also maintained the day-to-day operations for the group, inevitably keeping each soldier and criminal who fell under them in line. Their main stronghold was the network of African-American street gangs that sought to be under their tutelage. Due to his mentor being of the Cosa Nostra, it wasn't hard for Dean to maintain control of the organized crime within their group. He was the CEO of a record label, "Kickdoor Records," which later formed "Rich Money Records" after the demise of "Kickdoor Records."

Because of this, it was easy for legitimate revenue to flow in and out of the business,  along with the  organization  itself. Money laundering  came secondhand  when you  ran the most successful record label in the city.

In the Autumn of 2021, Dean Fletcher was incarcerated for illegally carrying a firearm in Winslow, Arizona. He was sentenced to a little over two years, unwillingly abandoning his operation in Los Santos. Since then, Torian McClain and others from the crew have gone missing— their whereabouts unknown. The rest were either incarcerated for crimes or violently gunned down due to the power vacuum. Nothing But Hustlers fell as quickly as it rose to power. After his incarceration, Dean Fletcher hit the streets with a head start. With the help of already holding a foothold on most of the illegal income that was raked in by the variety of African-American organizations and gangs within the city, the record label CEO easily sought likeminded confidants for additional monetary gain. It was known in the criminal underworld of Los Santos that Dean 'D' Fletcher was considered one of the most influential individuals, dating back to organizing and conducting intelligently constructed assassinations against neighboring crime bosses.

He outsourced his resources upon his release and combined his nefarious ambitions with Los Ventura's kingpin, Kofi Miller. In the legal world, Miller's known to partake in entrepreneurial endeavors that revolve around owning a plethora of businesses and properties. Using his storefronts and nightclubs to launder their money in the process of it all, the duo continuously grew in wealth. Naturally, their operation grew beyond the two of them. As two leading individuals in the underworld, the pair also utilized their connections with numerous other criminal organizations. Familiar with their way around murder, brutality, and gun violence— the enforcers, or "seatbelts" of the operation would be known as Kavion Porter, an assassin who debuted his prominence in the Nothing But Hustlers era, and Yarmel Buchanan, a crip gang leader.

With the rumors that swirled, there were occasional murmurs within law enforcement circles — fleeting, unverified accounts of the presence of the network's upper echelon in the hallowed halls of certain Masonic lodges, including the storied Blue Lodge. These reports, however, remained ephemeral fragments, left to linger in the realm of speculation. Amidst the calculated chaos, Dean's nephew, Eric Greer, emerged as a curious anomaly. A scion of wealth and privilege who, against all odds, forged an alliance with the E/S 77 Madd Swans Bloods, due to being punished and sent to stay with his grandmother in Capital Blvd, on account of being too "spoiled'. Under his uncle's tutelage, he supervised a cabal of scammers led by his close friend, Andrew Reyes, known as "No Strings Attached." Hidden in plain sight, this crew crafted elaborate schemes that skirted the boundaries of legality, reaping a staggering fortune of over 2.5 million dollars during their audacious reign.

Among the multifaceted enterprises that fueled the enigmatic force of Nothing But Hustlers, one clandestine aspect carried over to this organization— their covert specialization in mercenary undertakings. Operating as a conduit for many criminal entities, the Key Mob, known as the 'Ten O Eight Mafia' or ‘1008 MAFIA', seamlessly transitioned from orchestrating heists to offering their skilled services to the highest bidder. Behind closed doors, they discreetly undertook contract killings, heists, and acts of orchestrated chaos. Their lethal efficiency and unwavering loyalty within their ranks made them a sought-after resource among the city's criminal elite.

Contrasting their covert criminal operations, the Key Mob possesses an uncanny ability to glide seamlessly within the opulent realms of the City of Saints' upper echelons. While orchestrating chaos in the shadows, they can maintain a dual existence among the city's privileged elite. They rub shoulders with celebrated actresses and renowned chefs while effortlessly mingling at high-profile galas. Leaving a trail of intrigue and ambiguity, the aforementioned mob mirrors the dual lives they lead, a testament to their remarkable adaptability and the delicate balance struck between criminality and society's upper crust.

Within The Key Mob, we aim to portray a realistic sect of African-American individuals within a multi-ethnic covert enterprise. This intricate amalgam covers organized mercenaries and their trade of narcotics and firearms inside a fictional version of Los Angeles' criminal underworld. Unlike many other factions, we would like to demonstrate the reality behind the modern day hip-hop industry, the lifestyle, and the choices that are made to maintain stature in said industry. Inside this faction, a perspective granted from all walks of life will be displayed. A prominent feature to their story would be their involvement in the upper echelon, politics, and perhaps maybe even a secret society. Most of this information is to be obtained in-character, however. This faction draws inspiration from venerable influences like The Mob Ties, Black Mafia Family, Young Boys Inc., Roc-Nation, Young Stoner Life (YSL), and Death Row Records. As a requirement for participation, potential members must properly immerse themselves in the lifestyle of a denizen of Los Angeles. Realizing, acknowledging, and studying the structure of the aforementioned influences are also a must. One most also show an accurate portrayal of a criminal who's adaptable and accustomed to the streets of LA, which can always be developed. The authenticity of ties, whether by geography or familial bonds, stands as the cornerstone of engagement within the faction. The aggressive advantage of this faction, and main focus, is that they're able to outsource to groups that are lesser organized, to do their bidding. Central to this narrative is the paramount of significance for character development. In order to join, your character must at least be seventeen years of age. The Key Mob's leadership fosters alignment with neighboring criminal organizations, street gangs, to even petty drug dealers and amateur hitmen. This only strengthens their elusive and adaptive acumen. In essence, The Key Mob thrives through its discerning curation of members, immersive narrative weaving, and cultivation of genuine interpersonal connections.
