Asian households have always been known to pressure their children into the pinnacle of success; whether it be in academics, careers or in art. There's a reason why such and such stereotypes exist. Filipino households are no exception, hence the fruition of Marian Gochuico, otherwise known as Mumblez. Her parents had to leave their careers and assets back in Manila to start anew in a better governed country, and that meant expecting the best of the best in their children. Relatives on her mother's side are full of successful lawyers, doctors and engineers; both back in the mainland and in the US. Her father himself was prolific in vehicle sales as well; all in all it was a normal family, but behind such "gentle" image lies children with a lot of pressure on their shoulders, which would eventually bear the perfect ingredients of a rebellious personality. Marian would garner prestige throughout her academia at the expense of her social life. Her parents would box her from going out with her friends with a curfew, she'd be denied of experiencing your typical puppy love teen phase, and even with drawing. As if the pressure wasn't enough; her brother becoming more academically successful destroyed her sense of self and identity. At the end of the day though, she and her older brother was ultimately under the control of their parents. All the pressure, the reinforced expectations on her and the denial of a social life led her to lash out. She began sneaking out of the house more often, and began to grow a bond with Damage Celades; a classmate she often sat with during lunch. They both shared a love for drawing which eventually transitioned to graffiti. Just like the stereotypes, Marian gets granted a persona non grata treatment by her parents. She'd be entirely banned from being in the house again, fearing that her influence might creep on her brother. She ends up sharing a house with her cousin Mist Luscana. Now an outcast from the Gochuico household, Marian spends more time in the streets than in school. She would find a sense of fulfillment in her barkada consisting Terror Leano, Temper Kao, Mist Luscana and Damage Celades, where they'd eventually found KAME 2 KILL. INDUCTION INTO W/S SATANAS After a long time spent out in the streets with her crew Kame 2 Kill, Marian would be unknowingly roped into the life of crime, witnessing for herself the grimey underbelly of Vespucci and the Los in general. Following after the death of Damage Celades, all hell would break loose for her. Her guilt about her close friend's passing would ultimately become the voice of logic in her head, rendering her to be somewhat detached from reality. Marian would catch her first body alongside her childhood friend, Justin "Grimey" Kao, known back then as Temper, after the stabbing of Sosa Carreras, known back then as 2D. Although initially against the idea of bringing the crew to a deadly war involving guns, the same voice of guilt crept into her head, molding her decision to take part in the murder of an 18th Street affiliate by the clothing shop across the Tokyo plaza in retaliation for Carreras. From then on she simply sprung out with acceptance to the life she's engulfed herself in, justifying everything with a "might as well" mentality, obliviously stepping into the deadly and the bloody world of men. Then came the deadly wars with bigger gangs, such as Tiny Rascals and Pinoy Real 13, wherein she likewise participated in deadly hits against members of said gangs. Who used to be the calm center of the crew, once an innocent teenager who wanted nothing but to push her artistry out, had transitioned to a cold hearted gangbanger, a testament to the gradual self corruption thanks to the detrimental street culture of the Los, and the decadent environment of Killer Courts.

Francis Mangudadatu was born and raised in Vespucci. His mother, Nina Mangudadatu, originally hailed from Cainta, Rizal in the Philippines, and migrated to the United States with the aid of her relatives, where she worked as a caregiver. During a visit to the Philippines, Nina reconnected with an old flame, who later turned out to be Francis Mangudadatu's father. Upon returning to the United States, Nina discovered she was pregnant with Francis. Raising a child solo presented a daunting challenge, prompting her to seek assistance from her relatives, as Francis's father was absent, and she kept the pregnancy a secret from him. Growing up without a father figure proved difficult for Francis, especially as his mother was often absent, working two jobs to provide for them financially. Francis, a troubled youth, exhibited mischievous behavior, perhaps inheriting traits from his father. At the age of thirteen, Nina married an American dentist named Jason Smith, bringing a sense of relief to Francis and his mother. They moved out of Vespucci to live with Jason, where life seemed to improve for them. They even enjoyed a vacation to the Philippines, during which Francis met his maternal cousins and spent three months there before returning to the United States. However, at fourteen, Francis discovered that Jason was abusive towards Nina. Despite Francis's desire to confront Jason for his mother's sake, Nina always intervened to prevent him from doing so. Until one day, when Francis, now fifteen, returned from school to find his mother injured after being struck by Jason. Enraged, Francis attempted to defend his mother but was overpowered by Jason. Witnessing his mother's suffering, Francis reached his breaking point and attacked Jason in a fit of anger. Following this incident, Nina made the decision to leave Jason and return to Vespucci with Francis, escaping from his abusive behavior. Francis became rebellious towards his mother, spending more time with his cousin James Dimagiba and his friends. Vespucci, a known gang-infested area in Los Santos, began to influence Francis through Dimagiba and his friends. Instead of being at home with his mother, he was always on the streets. He somehow blamed himself for his mother's suffering, as she stayed with her abusive husband for his sake, which Francis didn't appreciate. ((This will serve as a Character Development thread for Francisco Mangudadatu))

Courtside Gangster Bloods dates back to the late 1980s and was a product of the Cambodian Genocide in the 1970s. Many Cambodian refugees settled in the United States with many groups moving into the section 8 homes of the Vespucci Canals in Los Santos. These families were met with challenges throughout the years with their environment coming with struggles such as gang activity and money issues. Gangs that have already been established would often see these groups as an easy target to pick on. Fights, robberies, home invasions to even stabbings often occurred in their neighborhoods with them usually being the victims. This caused the beginning of a deadly and violent street gang to form in the 8100 section of the Vespucci Canals other known as Imagination Courts. The youth began to run the streets while building a reputation they could take pride in, they were in many beefs against surrounding gangs in the area but quickly fell in line when multiple males from the area would find themselves facing charges. They would build connections and quickly established a foot hold in Vespucci, they found themselves in an alliance with a Blood gang other known as the W/S Krazy Miller Boyz, an established Asian Blood street gang. This alliance caused the gang to have a falling out with many other neighborhoods, mainly Crip neighborhoods. Throughout the years they would adopt the Damu culture and claim to be Gangster Bloods. Members would be in an out of jail but maintained to keep a strong influence on the streets with a reputation of being violent. In the 2010s the gang began to deteriorate, its older members being arrested and charged for serious crimes, the youth falling apart as the structure was crumbling along with it. The blood influence stayed in the 8100 section with a couple of groups of the youth residing in the area started to band together to keep the reputation of their neighborhood flowing. Courtside Mobb was a small time clique formed by kids running around committing petty crimes in their neighborhood to keep their friends close to each other, following the formation of Courtside Mobb another clique showed up by the name of Ready For War. Both had strong ties to the Courtside Gangster Bloods. These two cliques were as tight knit as can be, the two new names posed a threat to other gangs in the area and they found themselves in street wars rather quickly. While the group quickly made a name for themselves in the drug trade of Los Santos, they also lived up to their roots and fought off rival gangs while keeping their neighborhood in tact. After the passing of a factor and close friend to everyone in the neighborhood by the name of Aiden “Gudda” Hyeong, the teens would quickly pick up the pace and were responsible for a string of shootings and robberies within the following weeks, even shootings involving the Los Santos Sheriffs Department. The noise they made would cause a shock in the city, they took their Blood affiliations more seriously which caught the attention of locked up members of the Courtside Gangster Bloods. Two high ranking members of both cliques were blessed into the Blood gang, taking their members along with it. Westside 81 Oriental Boyz is a newer name established by the youth in the Vespucci Canals, the name comes from their location being in the 8100 section of the Canals, Imagination Courts to be exact. The subset is known to be the main factor in most of the street crime in Vespucci, Los Santos. The Damu influence is being spread all across the area with its ties being directed back to CGB and the Oriental Boyz. They’ve picked up beefs throughout the years with all Crips in the area and stick to their “Crip Killer” roots.
