Hello there! I currently run a cinema in-game and I really like the ideas that you mentioned. The bugs #2 and #3 that you mentioned are something that I had made a bug report on a few weeks ago and we were told that currently, the existing cinema script is a legacy script and something better is going to be replaced eventually. You can check that out here below: As for the seating it has always been sort of that way in regards to being teleported to the other side with every cinema that I have visited in-game, There was a trick that could be used to make your character move around but I forgot how that was done. I hope that in the future players will be able to choose where they want to sit together and surely it might keep people wanting to stay the entire time for the movies too!

I think if this is implemented then cinemas can still exist, and I am saying that as a current, if not only, cinema business owner on the server! I was originally against the idea but my opinion has changed in that there is enough people who would be interested in cinema RP to still go to it and there is plenty of people who want to watch stuff outside of going to a cinema business so I do hope this suggestion is implemented. 😀 I just think it will be more complicated for the developers than to just port it over due to the issues that the script already faces at the moment. I have a seperate character in a legal faction similar to FD so I understand how this could be useful too in your situtation.

Just pitching in the two trusted websites that I know about but I have no clear if they work outside of the United States due to licensing. There are a bunch of free movies and tv shows on these two sites below and they are trusted due to whom owns them. tubitv.com - Owned by Fox Corporation and free with advertisements. pluto.tv - Owned by Paramount Streaming and free with advertisements.

The current cinema script just allows from Youtube, but on the plus side, there is an abundance of independent and free films to choose from on Youtube. It would be difficult to get big-time irl movies or irl live sports with how the script currently works. Still, there is plenty of stuff on Youtube that could be used to RP as television/movies so it could be a good idea if it was ported over to also player-owned properties.

Teamwork is Dreamwork

Well about 45 people showed up to the cinema that I run just last week so I don’t think that’s exactly true that nobody goes them. It’s just not many opened for a long time, but yeah I am not disagreeing with the idea mentioned here.

I think this suggestion would cause fewer people to go to actual cinema businesses on the server, but I understand maybe some people just want to watch at player-owned properties. I would agree with this idea if the cinema script and future player-owned cinema script are equal in capabilities as currently only things from Youtube can be played on the business cinema script.
