I don't believe IC law would be constitutional. You are allowed to wear a mask IRL besides entering secured buildings. Out in public there's nothing law enforcement can do if you're walking around in a ski-mask.
Needs to be a server rule that you need a reason to wear a mask.

Personally I'd like to see the good cause reasoning removed. Both because it's actually against the US constitution ICly and OOCly.
And in terms of game balance, it's extremely easy to criminals to get firearms without a PF or CCW. The only thing this does is allow civilians to become prey to criminals in a state where if this was IRL we would be under martial law. Giving citizens access to small arms to defend themselves against the constant crime on this server is not a bad thing.
If it was hard for criminals to get firearms then maybe it would be a different story.
But just as in real life, the only thing this rule / law / policy hurts is law abiding roleplayers.

If we're speaking from an American law POV. The supreme court recently ruled that it is unconstitutional to require proper cause to carry a concealed pistol.

So from that point of view I don't think a reason should be required.
The whole thing of it being a game and what not is another situation that I don't really care to provide input on. But from a strictly real life POV this is now illegal in the USA.

Depends what you consider upper class. $300k isn't a lot of money (1-2 years salary?). It's reasonable to have a $300k vehicle as a hobbyist vehicle.

I don't know what "average upper class citizen" buys a light heli for more than 300k.
And that kinda is already represented by the Buzzard at 600k in game.
Apart from that, yes, +1 to this for variety.
The buzzard is based on an IRL 2 million dollar helicopter.

It's not powergame if it's true. You were never near a vehicle when you took out the gun. You were on the second level of the apartment complex.

He was seen with a gun and admitted it OOCly if you read the chat logs in his video. Also plead guilty to it IC. Only after the DA started adding charges to him which was IC did he decide to make this report. The judge ICly dismissed those charges.
I didn't have it in my shadowplay so I /do'd what I witnessed. Using /do as footage is not powergame as it is accurate.

Overall Explanation (250 word limit) : Saw Dennis Roya driving around like it's GTA Online going 130mph through the city streets in a black sedan for absolutely 0 reason. Drifting around, driving on opposite lane etc. Called this in over the radio and had him felony stopped. Dennis evaded from police. After a very lengthy pursuit, Dennis got out near an apartment complex on Vespucci / Decker near Little Seoul. An officer was literally 5 steps behind Dennis as he went into the apartment door. Dennis went up to a random apartment and refused to tell the following officer Lara Guerrero where he had went over PM. This is powergaming as clearly we would've been right behind him. Dennis went into a random apartment and stashed his firearm and whatever else he had on him, then came out to be arrested. Still refusing to give the apartment number for us to potentially search. Started getting toxic in /b about a helicopter being the one who catch him. When I was telling him his charges in the cells he got started faction bashing LSPD.

I'm not interested in re-roleplaying this. It was clearly an intentional disconnect. Immediately after he got shot dead he disconnected. Punish him or don't. I don't wish to re-roleplay this.

Elias had a massive shootout and killed multiple people including Gruppe 6 Security. This was witnessed and a lengthy almost hour pursuit occurred where he was chased in a SUV and had somebody leave a bike for him. Then another lengthy pursuit on the motorcycle. Eventually it was determined spikes were authorized due to the number murders that he committed. Elias was spiked and flew off into the beach. At gunpoint with literally 40 different law enforcement personnel, Elias suicides by cop and immediately PK's after being littered with bullets.

I was under the impression you could shoot as a driver if you were at low speeds and you were driving straight. Basically any driving that didn't require using two hands. Although I think you shouldn't be able to shoot while the vehicle is moving at all as the accuracy of your shots is not effected nearly as much as they would be IRL. You could be shooting through glass and still headshot somebody who's pursuing you 3 times as you maintain control of the car. It's unrealistic.

It is not constitutional. I just looked at the law in DC and it's basically only if you're using it in a crime to hinder identification. We already have a IC law for that but it's a very petty crime.
