This Thread will follow the development of Tahj TJ Tyson the artist. A Musician, aspiring Activist, and struggling Tattoo Artist. Tahj Tyson is the youngest born son to a praying Black mother, and an absent Native-American father. His mother Danielle, had a beautiful voice and lived as a struggling artist in LS before becoming a mother. She lived in Chamberlain Hills with her brother Rico and her eldest son Trey, before Tahj was born. Tahj's uncle and brother would eventually become ranking Crip members. After having him, his mother bounced the boys around from one project building to the next. His uncle and brother struggled to keep TJ away from seeing the lifestyle throughout this period. But stumbling across their guns and smelling weed smoke throughout the house influenced Tahj enough. Although, no matter how much he asked his uncle and brother, they never even considered bringing him into the gang. Despite this, Tahj would be suspended numerous times for wearing blue bandannas and fighting in school. He was just emulating what he seen his brother do. At 15, Tahj was walking to high school when he seen his uncle laying behind crime scene tape. In a drug deal gone bad, his uncle was robbed and shot, where they left him to die. Trying her best to get the boys out of the gang controlled complexes, TJ’s mother moved them into White City Mafia’s controlled-building on Forum Dr. It was here that TJ was inspired to change his life around by watching his brother do so. Trey invested his last few thousand in tattoo equipment, and hustled his way into owning his own Tattoo shop in Miami. In his last days living with his mom, Trey taught Tahj the basics of tattooing. He happened to practice on him as well with a forearm tattoo of his uncle. This made TJ invest his time in being creative instead of being approved of by the crips.
