  1. The following thread will showcase the character development of Phillip J. Sapienti. Phillip Joseph Sapienti was born on March 11, 1991, in Vespucci, Los Santos to Michael James Sapienti and Angela Sapienti (neé Arpino). Sapienti dropped out of school at 16 and obtained a job with his father at the local waste management company. Sapienti worked at the waste management company for approximately nine years before resigning due to a violent dispute with a member of the management team after his fathers employment was terminated due to unforeseen circumstances. After his employment at the waste management company ended abruptly he resorted to finding alternative employment, which lead him to committing petty crimes for a short period of time to accommodate for the income he had lost. Sapienti lived off unemployment cheques for the next couple of years. During this time Sapienti became a recluse and rarely ever communicated with family members and / or friends which attributed to his substantial weight gain. Sapienti became acquainted with members of the Colombo crime family, particularly Paul Longo, a soldier in the organised crime group through his first cousin Dominick Amato. Throughout the next couple of years Phillip's popularity increased with members of the Colombo crime family group that was based in Los Santos, assisting them on the day-to-day operations. Before the incarcerations of Ernest Savona, Paul Longo, Ronald Ganisa and Robert Bonfiglio, Sapienti was advised he was "on record" and became an affiliated member of the Colombo crime family. During the trials and imprisonments of the aforementioned Sapienti was rumoured to be a figurehead on the outside, liaising communications between the incarcerated members of the organised crime group to the members on the streets.
