  3. The Goblin Tribe of Grapeseed, or more simply the Grapeseed Goblins, is a one-percenter motorcycle club based in the small community of Grapeseed and is composed of motorcycle enthusiasts and organized criminals alike. The club was first founded in 1995 by the now-deceased president Frederick Thatch, and since then, ownership has been passed on from one VP to the next. It wasn't until recently that the motorcycle club found itself under the new rule of Dwayne Hammond, a veteran and long-time friend of the original president. I Dwayne grew up in Sandy Shores in the nineteen seventies, mostly on his lonesome. He was home-schooled, as is the usual for children in and around Sandy Shores. His love of motorcycles never really festered until his later years. In his early teens, Dwayne found himself generally reserved, albeit with certain spouts of violence, usually to do with making cash. Growing up in the country in the seventies and eighties put Dwayne and his family under a lot of racial stigma, which was to be expected. Dwayne got called every racial slur under the sun by various other people he grew up around with, most of them white. Dwayne sought solitude the only way he could - through crime - of which he had few friends to do it with. Vernon, Daquan, Fred and Wade. These members eventually became the 'core four' of the Goblins. One of his closest associates, Daquan Blackwell - of whom he grew up with - suggested the four buy bikes. They had seemed to take inspiration from other motorcycle clubs in and around the Sandy Shores area, after all, the duo had both grown up around the violence these clubs caused. Granted, they had obviously not experienced as much violence as a kid growing up in Davis, but they had still seen and accepted their fair-share of restaurant or club shootouts around the area in which they grew up, with most of said shootings to be blamed on the local motorcycle clubs. As the four gradually reached the age of seventeen they all decided to purchase motorcycles, spending a whopping $1,200 in total between them. It doesn’t take a genius to realize that these motorcycles were less than stellar at, well, anything. However, that wasn’t the point. The point was that the purchase of these four bikes lit a spark in the four, and although that spark wasn’t to turn into a flame for another twenty years or so, it was there. At the time, their reasoning was probably just because the age limit on riding bikes was lower than cars, which matters when you’re seventeen. The four split off shortly after their nineteenth birthdays. Wade and Daquan went to college, Vernon moved to Los Santos and Dwayne remained in the country, moving to Grapeseed almost immediately after the split within the group. Dwayne took a job in his uncle’s diner, located on the side of Route 1, to the side of the San Chianski Mountain Range. None of the club really know what happened to Vernon throughout the nineties. They know that he moved to Davis and had a rough time - to say the least - however the specifics are still somewhat unknown. Dwayne, on the other hand, had completely different ideas. He pursued the interest sparked by motorcycles during his off-time from the diner, and quickly garnered other friends and associates, one of which being the now-deceased Frederick Thatch, whom had only just created the now well-known Grapeseed Goblins one-percenter motorcycle club. Dwayne quickly bonded with the few other members that the club had, joining the club in full force with full spirits. Dwayne and Frederick pictured together circa 1998.
  4. Why: Because if people are stupid enough to carry around large sums of money with them, they should be susceptible to being robbed. It'll turn into LS-RP, wherein you can carry an ungodly amount of cash around on you and only have people be able to rob a fraction. If people could rob whatever cash was available, however, it would encourage people to actually use banks and maybe - just maybe - discourage them from going to the 'bad' parts of town, like Davis etc, which if anything only provides more roleplay to the server.
  5. why: because if someone is dumb enough to carry around $500,000 in a briefcase they deserve to get it stolen
