The Superior Courts of San Andreas has handed down a historic ruling in today's case of State v. Oscar Marina, a case that was initially started on Friday the 22nd of May, 2020. Oscar Marina is no stranger to the Justice system, having already faced an extremely large rap sheet for Murder and other charges. It was stated that Oscar had well over 30 charges, along with three murders.

 

Justice Issac Rhodes handed down the Death Penalty to Oscar Marina, the first-ever capital punishment charge in Los Santos history. It's unknown if Marina will appeal the ruling, or will accept it. The Justice said in his ruling "Mr. Marina. You ought to be ashamed of yourself, and this story of yours will not save you every time you take the soul of another innocent man or woman in our community. I cannot for the love of God, see any rationality in why you'd deserve a fourth chance. Oscar Marina, you have not only forfeited your right to live among us, but under the laws of the State of San Andreas, you have forfeited your right to live at all". He ordered that Oscar Marina face death by lethal injection. 

 

The evidence against Oscar was overwhelming, the graphic CCTV footage was the nail in the coffin for Oscar. The Justice was swift in delivering the cold hard justice that Los Santos needs. 

 

LSNN will attempt to reach out to the courts and the Sheriff's Department for a statement. 

 

Statement from the Sheriffs Department  -

Sheriff Patrick Machado

"The sentence handed down on the matter of Oscar Marina is justice for the victims of his crimes and the families mourning the losses of their loved ones. Marina murdered without remorse or regret and had an established propensity for violence and remorseless killing. With this sentence, it means Marina will be transferred to death row within a highly secure facility wherein he has no ability to threaten the safety or security of fellow inmates. Marina's sentence should show to the criminal enterprises of this state that we will pursue them judiciously, even behind bars, to ensure their criminal activity will not continue unabated."
