bex
I tried loading the game yesterday after it was working fine the night before. Windows 10 popped up saying “not compatible with this PC”. I verified files on Steam and it still didn’t work. I did “troubleshoot compatibility” on RageMP and ran it from Windows 8 but that opened single-player, and fixes for this didn’t work. I uninstalled and reinstalled Rage MP. Now, the server starts to load but once it reaches “finishing handshake” it freezes and closes - no error message whatsoever. These are the things I’ve tried to do: • Ensured I have redistributables (I do) • Reinstalled RageMP (x2) • Verified Steam file integrity (x5) • Opened the server with Steam closed (x3) • Created a save file in single-player • Checked if GTA Online works (it does) • Disabled my Firewall / Antivirus • Restarted my PC (x4) I am out of ideas! Does anyone have any tips? 😞 Link to comment
Jaxium
First, uninstall RageMP entirely. Then open your search bar and type regedit, and browse your way to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ RAGE-MP, then delete the RAGE-MP registry (the folder itself, not keys). Next, do you have more than one disk on your PC? If one, install RageMP in your C drive, but not in the default path that's generated for it in Programs x86. If more than one, install RageMP in the same drive as your GTAV, but not in GTAV's own folder. Edited May 27, 2021 by Jaxium Link to comment
