One of IFM's main priorities is to create a healthy market for players to obtain illegal goods. This is why we require creative and active players to be members of the supplier program. Those selected for the program must have a flawless concept and sound reason for pursuing such routes. We're constantly looking to improve the quality of roleplay within organizations themselves, and for illegal organizations, the drug/firearm trade can be detrimental - please ensure you put a lot of thought into becoming a supplier before applying as it comes with great responsibility. Types Regulations Applications 1. TYPES CLOSED — MINOR — MELEE The melee supplier role gives approved applicants access to a wide range of melee weapons such as, for example, knives, sledgehammers, and more. OPEN — MINOR — ELECTRONICS (closing date: 04/APR) The electronics supplier role enables approved applicants to request high-quality bugs, wires, device scanners, and more. They are also able to unlock code-locked phones. OPEN — MINOR — WEAPON SPECIALIST (closing date: 04/APR) The weapon specialist supplier role gives approved applicants access to remove serials from guns and set their firing mode. They also gain access to a small amount of weapon attachments. NOTE: This supplier cannot be held by a faction holding a gun supplier spot. CLOSED — MAJOR — DRUG SUPPLIER A list of all available drugs can be found here. You are required to apply for TWO drugs at a time. IFM reserves the right to swap out either of the chosen drugs for something more fitting and/or needed. CLOSED — MAJOR — GUN SUPPLIER 2. REGULATIONS Due to the impact a player possessing a supplier position can hold within the illegal community and the server's economy, becoming a supplier comes with a set of strict rules. IFM holds the right to alter these rules and regulations as they see fit at all times. The following must be taken into consideration before an application is sent in: Every player is limited to one supplier spot at a time. Unofficial Factions may hold up to 2 suppliers (1 minor, 1 major). Official Factions may hold up to 3 suppliers (2 minor, 1 major). You must have a relatively clean administrative record. We are not interested in offering players positions holding power of the server's illegal market if they cannot follow the server rules. Admin punishments older than 3 months are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Your character must be well-developed and active before you may apply for a supplier position and must be older than 8 weeks (the same applies for namechanged characters). Stockpiling is not allowed. You are supposed to distribute your stock and IFM will check up on this regularly. Your character can't own a PF license if you intend to become a gun supplier. You can't move most of your goods via a pawnshop if you intend to become a melee supplier. By applying to the supplier program you accept that Illegal Faction Management can remove your position if they believe you are no longer fit for the role, if you leave the position that generated application acceptance, or if you are punished for breaking server rules. Inactivity without an LOA to IFM Leadership for more than 2 months will result in an instant removal of the supplier position. You may not request an increase for your supplier if accepted. This is something IFM approaches you about when deemed necessary. You must agree to follow internal supplier program policies and regulations at all times. IFM differentiates between two different options - Individual Supplier & Faction Supplier (Official Factions only) Individual Supplier - This is a supplier that is held by an individual who holds full responsibility for their supplier and full authority over their supplier. If the character holding this supplier is killed, they will lose the supplier completely. This supplier can't be transferred. In the event that the player holding the supplier joins a faction/wishes to transform into a Faction Supplier, they should reach out to the Heads of IFM. Players applying for this type of role are not required to roleplay with a faction. Faction Supplier - This is a supplier that is held by an individual within an Official Faction, however, if they are killed or go inactive, it may be passed over to someone else within the faction if there is available evidence to show that in-character progression involving said character in the supply makes sense. This supplier can only be transferred within the faction. If the player holding the supplier wishes to transform into an Individual Supplier, they should reach out to the Heads of IFM. Evidence of in-character cutting off the faction will be required, however, this does not guarantee approval and may come with its own risk in-character. Players applying for this type of role must be in an Official Faction. 3. APPLICATIONS The review process with some examples of how IFM reviews supplier applications is listed below: Once a supplier application is posted in Submit your supplier application with one of the formats found below, IFM will move it to an internal section for discussion. The application is not deleted. Full members of IFM will now begin discussing the information provided on the application but also go into detail about situations (negative and positive) they have encountered with the applying individual, e.g. RP quality, OOC attitude, backstory, way of acquiring goods, and more. Note that this is only done by IFM members who do not have a conflict of interest for the individual and/or involved faction. IFM will also look into more administrative information, e.g. admin records, assets, and more. Once this is done, IFM leadership will sit together to discuss last details and make a decision. Applicants will only receive a message via forum PM if they have been successful with their application. Denied applicants will not receive a notification. SUPPLIER SAFEHOUSES Suppliers may request a safehouse as an individual or within a faction if it meets the needed criteria. A safehouse can be applied for after holding and maintaining a supplier actively for a minimum of three months. If your supplier safehouse is raided, you will not be able to request another for a minimum of three months, and acceptance is on a case-by-case basis. If you hold a supplier role and belong to a faction, this will be counted towards the factions overall limit. Edited March 28 by slump 1 Link to comment
