Bonnie was born and raised by a single mom in the projects of Steinway, Dukes, Liberty City. She never met her dad, and without any authority figure in her life she was a directionless youngster, barely attending school, drinking, getting high, and often getting involved with shady characters. Growing up in the projects she would get into many fights, forcing her to toughen up mentally and physically at a young age. At the age of 16 she dropped out of school with no qualifications and worked various low paying jobs in stores and cafes. Her life consisted of just getting by, and partying whenever she could afford it.

 

In a nightclub at the age of 19, Bonnie met Dorion "Biggie" Gates, the Don of Jamaican drug trafficking organisation, The Shower Posse. The Shower Posse was responsible for smuggling 40% of all the cocaine in America into the country, and their leader showered Bonnie with money and gifts, as the pair developed a sugar-daddy/sugar-baby relationship. The relationship was not just a one way street though, as over time Bonnie would gain the Don's trust and carry out many favours for both Biggie and the DTO as a whole.

 

This thread will follow the last few months of Bonnie's life in Liberty City, as well as her move to Los Santos and everything that followed.

As well as showering Bonnie with gifts, Biggie also encouraged Bonnie to make her own money. He encouraged her to take advantage of her looks before she got too old and fell out of demand, and to invest that money wisely for her future. Bonnie saw no shame in manipulating men out of their money on the internet, and she and Biggie would discuss strategies to make as much money as possible, selling revealing pictures and even charging lonely men just to talk to her.

She pulled up at the house, knocked on the door, and told the guys she was fiending for coke, casually name dropping "Don Biggie" as she explained how she found them. They invited her inside, drank rum and snorted cocaine together, and from that night on, Bonnie became even deeper entrenched into the Shower Posse's Liberty City operations.

 

As Biggie's trust in Bonnie grew, he entrusted her with even more responsibility, employing her to run his Grass Roots Cafe & Deli over in Little Jamaica. The business, while appearing like a regular café to customers, was a front used to launder the proceeds of smuggling cocaine into Liberty City.

Bonnie uses her paycheck from Grass Roots to invest in some brewing equipment and tries to learn how to make her own beer. She hopes to make a little extra money on the side by selling it under the table to regulars at the cafe, since it is not licensed to sell alcohol.
