This is my second drug roleplay guide, I'll be covering MDMA, MDEA and MDA specifically within this guide, whilst it's unlikely that MDEA or MDA would be found in game, you can always utilise a testing kit D20 guide which I will probably post alongside this so you have a chance of getting one of these substances through this roleplay, there's always the idea that at some point in World clandestine chemists would be a functional feature where they can synthesise these rarer and unique chemicals and sell them on say a research chemical market, hidden behind drug enthusiasts or the more organised crime groups. Your more likely to find the two latter chemicals from bikers than say a dealer who's entire goal is to provide a common product that he knows the functions and business behind. All of these chemicals have a 1,2-methylenedioxybenzene ring system in their structure. This is why they are overall referred to as MD-XX, the XX standing for the other part of the chemical structure for said compound. These three chemicals are Entactogenic and mildly hallucinogenic and are all part of the amphetamine family. MDMA and MDA specifically are more well known for their use in the modern day world within the EDM scene, rave scenes etc. Studies have been shown utilising MDMA providing glimpses of possible therapeutic use in a medical setting for those with PTSD, anxiety and depression. Subjective effects of these three substances include but are not limited to - Empathy enhancement, sociability enhancement, euphoria, stimulation and anxiety suppresion. MDA is also said to be more psychedelic in it's effects, providing the more classical visual distortions associated with seretonin based psycehedelics. Frequent use of these chemicals are often reported to create a tolerance which in many cases can never come back, it's suggested to wait three months between the use of these chemicals as to re-gain the seretonin that has been dumped by the chemical when in use. Redosing is also not suggested however many do. The MD-XX chemicals are also thought to be neurotoxic which further implies it's best to wait between uses. These chemicals work by depleting Seretonin stored and releasing it. This is why people have comedowns, because of the lack of Seretonin. ROA ( Routes of Administration ) These chemicals can be. Snorted - Whilst not suggested due to it's causticness, snorting as a ROA can provide a high which comes on quicker, is somewhat weaker in effects and wears off quicker. Snorting these chemicals is incredibly painful, though bareable if one has water. Injection - Whilst a really uncommon method of administration, this is a shorter lasting but insanely potent method of administration, having spoken to a few people using this method, it's said to be insanely psychedelic and euphoric, more than any other method. Oral administration - The most common and in my opinion the best way to ingest this substance, I believe this method spreads out the effects in a balanced way, providing a much smoother crash than other routes would. Boofing - We do not speak on this method, only that it's a potent and quick way to do so. Timing of susbtance. 3-6 hours total length ( around 5-8 for MDA ) Comeup is around the first 30-90 minutes of dosing. The Peak of the substance is usually around the 1h30 mark. The comedown begins slowly after the peak. THE HIGH AND HOW TO PORTRAY IT. I'll be making a single description that holds for all 3 substances with mention of how the different substance will slightly change the experience. The comeup begins with a slight feeling of stimulation, euphoria or in some cases sedation where you may want to lie down, colours may get brighter and in say MDA's case you may notice visual distortions. This is where the most "disliked" effect of MD-XX may begin, referred to as "gurning" it's when your jaw will clench and chitter, similar to how your teeth go when you get cold. This is often a telltale sign of use, alongside the insanely dilated pupils one will get. Your character may feel more social, open and energised. The peak of the substance is considered one of the most euphoric experiences one may ever get, you may be stimulated, sedated, etc. In the case of MDA you may be "tripping" alongside the previously listed effects and in MDEA's case you may feel more stoned and sedated, MDEA being the weaker chemical of the three. When I first started taking this substance you wouldn't even realise you had peaked because of how great you felt until that split second when the peak ends. A common effect of these substances is feeling "lovey" as I call it. You might want to go hug random people, this drug is great for social events as you'll be more open and willing to meet new people, sharing them life stories, etc and even giving them things for free. ( the amount of cigarettes ive shared on this substance is way too much. ) The comedown of this substance is often dreaded by many, the initial comedown in some cases isn't too bad, in some instances you may feel a kind of "afterglow" where you feel tired, but still happy with the experience. The days following are what is dreaded the most, some may feel depressed, anxious, etc. The best thing to do in this case is to eat, get your vitamins back and if your a smoker consume some Cannabis, from my personal experience and many others Cannabis will infact bring the effects back in it's own unique way, often with a psychedelic touch which makes the comedown not as challenging, but more another unique part of the experience in it's own right. It's also essential to stay hydrated when on this substance as there have been many deaths from dehydration and or overheating, it's also said to not drink too much, in my opinion I'd say stick to 500ml of water every hour and 30 minutes. TL;DR on effects Feeling "loved up" - social, wanting to make new friends, feeling an immense feeling of appreciation and love for everyone, even your enemies in some cases. Stimulation and or sedation. visual distortions ( more common with MDA, however MDMA metabolises to MDA by 10% therefor redosing or taking a high dose of MDMA will mean possible MDA effects. ) Intense euphoria and in some cases the ability to reflect on traumatic events and make breakthroughs in these traumas or at least mild healing. This is my first roleplay guide involving the use of substances and how to portray them properly, i've seen way too many instances of people dropping an acid tab and then just going on about the day. This series of guides I'll be writing I hope can provide an interesting way and a realistic way to portray this style of roleplay, as someone who's done these substances before and know many who have I believe this will be fairly accurate. PSYCHEDELICS Psychedelics are a class of Seretonigenic ( works on the Seretonin system ) Hallucinogen known for their ability to distort ones perception, they have been used for thousands of years for recreational, ceremonial, healing and spiritual purposes. The subjective effects often depend on the sub-class of said Hallucinogen, though more often than not the most common effects are closed and open eye visuals, ( distortions in your vision, such as breathing, melting, shifting, one of the most common visuals being "Geometry" - patterns of varying shapes, sizes colour and structures that appear over objects ) time distortion ( a change in the sense of time, slower or faster, for example a DMT trip could feel like years when in reality it's only twenty minutes. ) other effects include deep introspection, euphoria and ego loss ( the loss of sense in oneself and existence. ) TRYPTAMINES The psychedelic effects of tryptamines are believed to come from their efficacy at the 5-HT2A receptor as a partial agonist. However, the role of these interactions and how they result in the psychedelic experience is the subject of on-going research. Tryptamines are the more common and organic class of psychedelic hallucinogen substance such as Psilocybin. In terms of effects they are often said to be more sedating and in terms of visual effects provide more "organic" types of visual, such as smooth patterns that often seem natural, as oppose to substances of say the Phenethylamine class which are often said to be more "electrical and sharp". Common Tryptamines are listed below Psilocybin Mushrooms Psilocin DMT Ayauscha LYSERGAMIDES The Lysergamides are polycyclic amides which have both phenethylamine and tryptamine groups embedded within their structure. They are found within drugs such as LSD and analogues associated with LSD. Whilst following the base effects like all pyschedelics, Lysergamides are often more stimulating than say Tryptamines and the visuals are often seen as more electrical and sharp. Common Lysergamides LSD ALD-52 1P-LSD LSA PHENETHYLAMINES Substituted phenethylamines are often associated with central nervous stimulants alongside the many psychedelics that lie within this class. Substances such as MDMA could also be considered hallucinogenic in nature, however lack many of the effects found with your classical psychedelics. Phenethylamines are also considered the more health-risky in terms of hallucinogenic substances, with risks with some substances such as heavy vasoconstriction ( constriction of the blood vessels and muscles ) and more risk for psychosis. Common Phenethylamines MDMA MDA 2CB 2C--XX Mescaline NBOM-XX Now, the main point of the guide, how do you roleplay these things properly? I'll be explaining as a whole for each class, though you can always use the website Psychonaut Wiki for more information on the substance you are going to be using. IMPORTANT Taking a Psychedelic and going on about your day to day would be incredibly hard, many find it hard to speak or at least put their words into a proper sentence. Going into a psychedelic trip needs a good mindset and environment to be within, if you just narrowly just avoided a police chase and your friend had gone to prison, you may spend that entire trip in a paranoid and worried state. If you go into an experience willing to let go to the experience and take whatever happens, you may have one of the greatest experiences in your characters life. COMEUP Some get anxious whilst waiting for the effects of the drugs, a normal dose of most psychedelic substances usually takes around 40 minutes to an hour for the first effects to kick in. The first effects many notice is the change of headspace, you'll feel different, or as if something was off. Within the first hour is when the first visual effects kick in, these effects are more often things such as size distortions, distortions in shapes, the walls may begin to breathe, move around, or feel like they are melting. You may feel like sitting down and staring away at an object. This object may seem more than what it is when your sober, a chair to you might be the most important thing in the world, you may even feel like you are the chair. You may come to a deep introspective thought process of "Chairs are the key to the earth, because we need to sit, we need to sit because sitting is comfortable, comfortable is happiness, happiness is everything." You often get thought connectivity, where your thoughts all come together in a state of "oneness" or "everything." PEAK The peak is the peak of the psychedelic effects, at this point the effects are in full, your world may be coated in psychedelic geometry, you may not even think at all, your time may be spent just sitting there, watching the world go by. Doing actions such as driving on a peak would be considerably hard unless your character is capable of doing so, I have yet to meet a psychonaut who can drive whilst on a peak so this'd be really hard, I'll be writing up a roll system for this guide too which can help make things interesting. COMEDOWN The effects begin to wear off. You may feel tired, though with some substances like LSD you may find it incredibly hard to sleep. This guide has been a little rushed due to the time, however I'll also make a TL;DR Your perception is altered immensely, you'll be possibly seeing things, hearing things, or seeing things differently in a distorted manner. You may have life changing experiences You may experience intense paranoia, anxiety and psychosis. Time distortion, things go slower or faster. Doing your day to day roleplay would be much more confusing and or harder for your character. Actions such as even filling up water may lead to an introspective, slow and confusing moment, use your common sense with say driving. Use Psychonaut Wiki as a place to read into the substances your character may be using. Dosage matters too, a low dose of a substance will be IMMENSELY different from a high dose of one.
  5. System needs a hard re-work, another thing to this would be in-game test kits, not all of our drug-taking characters are just doing it because of addiction, some of them could be hardcore psychonauts and im sure as hell gonna test my shit
  6. No one is doing a gram of heroin in one go, this'd also reduce in-game overdose risks because you can overdose on the silliest amount of the most random substances ever. If my character is going to do coke, he's not going to do it all in 1 dose, he's going to do it in smaller doses such as 0.2g. Making a change to drug weights would firstly make sense and also allow me to share drugs with other players without having to not provide an item. This would also enhance the economy/assist the economy as say addicts would often buy in smaller pieces instead of say getting a gram simply because they do not have the money. This is a quality of life, immersion, realism and a general improvement to drugs.

I've created this system in place because frankly standing around doing the same thing for an hour really gets old, this system also utilises an optional D20 system and is going to be expanded upon with due time. This system is also aimed to help players find a more immersive and possibly enjoyable system so they can grind their 4k an hour with a slight smile! MENU ITEMS - This is by far the most important thing to this guide, because the burger king scripts are broken in game and we have no way of showing our menu or even creating items, it's all got to be done through RP. I'm going to be using the GTA-lore Burger Shot menu alongside a few additional items that would logically be present in a national-fast food chain. OVERALL-BURGER DRESSING INFO Each Beef burger item is dressed with tomato ketchup, mustard, two pickles and a sprinkle of onion ( chicken burgers lack the onion), cheese is also included by default unless the customer says otherwise and or is a hamburger. Sprunk - Cup, Can, Bottle ( 500ml or 1l ) - $50 ECola - Cup, Can Bottle ( 500ml or 1L ) - $50 Various Soda's and Juices - Estimate SLUSHEES - $65 Apple Blueberry Lime Strawberry Cherry Cola ICE CREAMS Vanilla - $60 Vanilla with toppings - $80 Moo Kids Meal - $120, the meal contains a portion of fries, a simple hamburger/cheeseburger and a drink of choice. Beef Stack Meal - $150, meal contains a portion of fries, a triple cheeseburger utilising quarter pounder meat and a drink of choice. Salad Meal - $150, the meal contains sweet potato fries, salad and an optional slice of pork meat eg - salami slices, drink of choice included. Money Shot Meal - A double quarter pounder burger with fries and drink of choice - $140. Torpedo Meal - A large subway sandwich style burger containing chicken, fries and a drink of choice. - $160 The Bleeder Meal - A single quarter pounder burger with fries, drink of choice, doused in two shots of ketchup. - $130 The Heart Stopper - A 7 patty burger, this item can be bought as a meal for $200 however on it's own is $160. ADDITIONAL ITEMS Halal Burgers - Use the same format as previous items Chicken Burgers - Same format, however the option for a spicy chicken burger is also present. Vegan - Vegan options are available in the same format as all items listed. FINGER FOOD/PIECE MEALS 10 Chicken Nugget Box - $100 20 Chicken Nugget Box $150 8 Chicken Tenders - $160 BBQ Or Spicy Tenders - $170 COUNTER/FRONT STAFF Your job is to simply serve customers, clean the front area, fix any problems a customer may have etc etc. KITCHEN STAFF Your job is to make the food in the kitchen, the kitchen is put into multiple stations DRINKS AND ICE CREAMS RED MEATS Your goal is to man the grill and ensure that all meat going out is well seasoned, cooked properly etc etc. The grill would be automatic, all you need to do is set the meat onto the grill, press the button and wait for it to come back up for you to then season it and place it into a heating tray. OPTIONAL GRILL SYSTEM When placing items on the grill, you can do a roll to result in a certain consequence/action that may come with utilising the grill. 1-3 - One or all of the grill stands need to be cleaned/de-carbonised, this means you need to scrape off and clean any grease and or carbon on or near the grill. This is not an essential roll that will in any way effect the production of the meat, however may reduce quality and make the meat look dirty. Essentially a hygeine/cleaning roll. 4-6 - Broken Grill, the outcome of this roll is entirely up to you with these two options - The grill is cooking meat and then the platten goes up, leaving half cooked meat, you can try and roll again and press the button down,in more than most cases the meat will continue cooking as normal with no hassle. The other option would be that the grill itself no longer functions. Fixing the grill can be done fairly easily by just restarting the grill power, however you may have to wait a minute or two ICLy for it to heat up again. 7-8 - The grease filter/trap needs to be emptied. 9-20 - The meat cooks perfectly fine, all goes well. CHICKEN/VEGAN/ETC This station is responsible for manning items such as Vegan meats, Chicken, etc etc. Within your station, you'd have a freezer stocked up with the obvious items, all of them are pre-bagged and frozen, all you need to do at your station is open up the bags, place the items into a fry basket, place them into the fryer and then press the green button which then automatically fries them for you. 1-4 - Oil change, this is a frequent thing, often needing to change the oil of the fryer every few hours or so, this task is not hard to complete. 5-6 - Broken fryer, the fryer no longer functions as needed, it's up to you oocly and or icly on how you want to deal with this. 7-20 - Fryer cooks as normal. Fry station You are the man with the fries, the fry boy. Your task is simple, fill your basket with fries, place them into the fryer and wait for them to be cooked. Once the fries are finished, you place them into the fry hold, where you can salt them and place them into the dedicated portion sizes ready to be served. RESTOCKS/OPTIONAL ROLLS Items such as pickles, sauces etc, the things you'd run out of at some point will always need to be restocked, to do so simply head into the management office, IC'ly this could be utilised as a stock room. 1-4 - Dressing items, such as pickles, etc. With items such as pickles and onions, you may need to empty out the waters/pickle juices into a sink as to not have a dressing pot full with pickle juice. 5-8 - Sauces, sauces may run out and can be restocked by going into the stock room and refilling them, self explanatory. 9-20 - Other items, all up for you to decide! MANAGEMENT/PROFIT ROLEPLAY GUIDE Managers essentially carry out all the roles of the previous stations and assist with customers, though they can also do stock logging/profit logging etc. Simply come up with an idea in your head of the money made on that day and then account for losses. ROLES/RANKS Burger Shotter - Your average run of the mill employee. Shift Management - They are associated with running the shifts, they hold a higher position of power than Burger Shotters however really have no say in terms of the store. Assistant management - Associated with organising events, logging down profits in the management computers, etc etc. Management/Managers - Self explanatory. Whilst this system may seem rushed, I've written it at 7 in the morning on very little sleep. I hope this small but soon to be improved/updated system can in some way or form help you enjoy or at least have a better understanding on how you could utilise being a Burger Shot employee in-game.

I have a character who works in Burger Shot and it makes things a little harder with the Y menu not opening, meaning I have to inform each player that the menu is broken and everything has to be done through RP. I have tried working around it by trying to use createitem however BurgerShot is not listed as a business compatible for the script, therefor I give players no items and simply receive cash for doing so. It's a little immersion breaking too as there would be a proper menu but for now customers order pretty much any item, which is fine to an extent. However this would be quality of life and help improve my roleplaying experience with the business.

So I stashed an container filled with substances, though when I went to go and pick it up I found that even though it said I picked the item up, nothing appeared in my inventory, I have screenshots of me stashing the container alongside the contents inside and screenshot of this not going into my inventory just as evidence. I'm not sure whether to put screenshots here or provide them later when asked for.

Concept: Soundsystem, free parties and Pirate radio station Details: ICly my character along with his buddy run a soundsystem and pirate radio station, we'd be looking for a variety of different players, players interested in Djing, Mcing, sound engineering, hustlers looking to make money from these parties, etc. Let me know! With the DJing and MCing, there's a system I've got written down which would help you earn money as well!
