  1. Walter white was making tens of kilos not tens of ounces, just say you live in a 7 bedroom mansion in a gated community bruh.
  2. Isn't every junkies dream to be able to make their own drugs? None the less, i'm not the cook - and the cook has a full well written back story as to how he can cook - I sit back watching with a beer in my hand watching. Y'all mall rats are way too eager to jump to conclusions. Is it a crime to not wanna work bar shifts as a criminal RP'er here? It's as if meth addicts haven't been the guys making meth for the past 20 years in home made labs in California where we portray... Oh.... wait... Yikes, they have been. Your trying to be too realistic and it's unrealistic as hell - this ain't a crime drama series, as I said earlier - no serious criminal RP'er is working bar shifts unless their R1 & trying to earn their stripes or are within an organised crime group whom uses their faction members as a work force 🙂 or in the odd few - whom truly like RPing bartending.
  3. Your basically right about the whole concept, but it's how much RP is generated during this process which is truly what makes it worth it,,,, most junkies are simply unable to work man - there's two types of addicts, functioning addicts & none functioning addicts, you may of met a few functioning addicts & likewise so, but that's the 25%, the other 75% are busy grouching on a dirty mattress in an abandoned apartment out of sight. And when non-functioning addicts get jobs? it probably ain't gonna last long at all. And that's kind of what I'm getting at all in all, maybe halfling the amount of materials we get? fair enough - there's still enough to go around - but to take it from 1500 to 260 is just brutal truth be told, but it is what it is I guess, killed any motivation me and my friends had to play personally and going on what others have said on this I'm guessing we're not alone in feeling hard done by the situation Wasn't just one source of RP we lost from labs but, also chop shops got to bare that mind - hopefully IFM sees a more middle-ground approach would be better overall, but then again that's just my opinion, maybe it's super crucial the markets dictated by a small handful of people or something.
  4. I know - but that's still only 6 parts brother and takes away from electronics given - splitting it 50-50 with the chop shop owner it's still taking 2-3 cars to make a lockpick and to top that off if we wanted to do it in one day we're risking getting jailed for a crime spree - cause let's be real, robbing 3 cars to "make a lockpick" isn't gonna float
  5. Yes working as bartender is immersion breaking for me, if it makes sense for your character it makes sense, but it truly doesn't for mine - Can my character be seen at dive bars occasionally? Yes - will he work them or any legal job for that matter? no - he's too hardcore for that, thing is - the people working the bars are usually as you said, Byrds/women or new members looking to fill their boots and make their self useful to the faction leader - neither of them apply to my character - he also does normal every day things, i assure you, although it's mostly junkie related RP, but we're completely straying from the point - end game for my character is life in jail, not a fantasy ending like some crime-drama series, a true junkie - because I assure you most junkies are NOT functional addicts and do not hold down day jobs, that's the minority not the majority.. I can get drugs and car parts and have direct links for both - it's just they have been nuked by GODLY amounts brother - do you actually still currently run a chop / seen the latest system? Your comment gives me the vibe you haven't seen how much they nerfed it, we now get 4-6 car parts per car, and splitting them 50-50 with a chop needs you to rob a minimun of 2-3 cars just for a simple lockpick It's just unrealistic my man - and I see your character has been around a long ass time and is well established, but for those who don't have stockpiles and back up plans? we're screwed out of all our RP after all the effort we put in already to achieve said links & schemes!
  6. we're not allowed to apply for a drug scheme because we taught someone to cook - so we're solely reliant on him and his 130 pills a fortnight man - I have IC money man, it's the drugs and car parts I need for roleplay with other illegal rpers - i'm not tryna roleplay as a bartender it isn't fun nor is it enjoyable, nor does it fit my character, nor is it realistic for a meth head nazi to be sat behind a bar serving cocktails dive or not - it's immersion breaking as hell & pretty sure i'm speaking for 90% of illegal rpers when i say we ain't doing that. (Granted the odd 10% enjoy it) Also yeah if we stole 3 cars the same night we're getting admin jailed it's against the rules^^
  7. I know man - i'm very familiar with the illegal script but there's also rules preventing shit, we can only rob 1 car per night realistically otherwise we're risking being admin jailed for "Crime spree" so it'd take 3-4 nights of 1-2 hour investments to get a return of 5-7.5k each, I do like the new craft system and wouldn't knock it, it's a great idea but it's execution overall is very poor IMO, I don't want a legal job, since it wouldn't fit my character, he's a junkie with a swastika on his head, a SoCal tweaker in and out of jail, not the dude you'd see behind a bar, that'd be a RPQM case, I don't need money IC'ly as truth be told I have way more than what my character should have and just be hoping somebody burgles it from my house one day, problem is 80% of the illegal community have had big sources of their RP nuked and i'm one of them
  8. Nah man I just enjoy thoroughly RPing the things i'm doing, even if it was as server spawned car i'd still spend a large amount of time doing it for the roleplay aspect. If you spent 1-2 hours RPing and got given $350 dollars worth of car parts(1/4 of a way to making your own lockpick) would you be eager to continue? Your correct, script money is a meme - it's useless, and now 80% of illegal RPers are broke cause we can't get drugs and can't get parts in any reasonable amount to exchange with people and create roleplay, that's exactly the issue.
  9. I roleplay a junkie who lives on a homeless camp and has very little-to-none assets brother, wrong crowd for what your saying - I'm pissed off the roleplays been taken away not the money, which brings me back to the point I stated - people are not going to roleplay for nothing Picture the scene - you've met a guy who's got a chop shop connection, you spend 1-2 hours finding a nice car and robbing it with deep roleplay before dropping it off to the chop shop and letting him break it down. You eagerly wait around the corner for your reward... Guy returns and gives you 1 car parts strung along with the sentence "You can sell that for $350 - down for more?"
  10. Exactly this - it's reducing roleplay - same for chops, If I want to chop a car I can't even take a look out man to make it a better experience because let's be honest - who's going to want to rob cars and help you for nothing?
  11. The current recipe is based on using 2 of the main precursor per cook - and to be fair mine & his both labs got denied because we taught a dude how to cook IC'ly and explained the scheme process OOC'ly because he was new to the game - the only reason we didn't have a lab active was because it got raided, I get drug labs aren't meant to replace suppliers, but we now can't get nothing because we taught someone IC'ly, and the dude who has got it only got enough for himself because labs have been nerfed so hard. And nope - chops are not meant to be money printers but there has to be some sort of enticement to do the roleplay, it's just unrealistic to have to steal four cars to make a lockpick each, thing is if you restrict and lower the numbers too much people stop sharing because there ain't enough to go around.
  12. Would be somewhat cope-able but now we're not even allowed our own lab because we TAUGHT some dude to cook - 33.3 pills each per fortnight, Only chance i'm getting RP out of that is standing on Davis corner and my characters from Paleto 💀
  13. The latest update came with some big changes to laboratories quietly - a nerfing of about 80% realistically - same for chop shops - how do people feel about this? Our first original lab we was given 100 of each precursors - enough for 50 "decent" batches of pills, this would be refillable after two weeks via IFM. Our first original lab got raided and my friend received a lengthy prison sentence during which schemes ended up closing for 3 weeks. We met a guy inside whom we roleplayed with and was interested in the reason we we're there(Cooking drugs) Long story short he was a newer player and didn't know about schemes etc OOC'ly, we took an IC route and said we'd meet up with him after prison and teach him how to cook if he sells some of his pills to us for a decent price. During this process labs we're nuked under the illegal update, you can now do 1 and a half batches of pills per 2 weeks. 130 pills per 2 weeks, our original lab which was being "set back up" after prison has now been declined - same for mine - because we taught this guy how to cook RP'ly. That's 33.3 pills each, for 2 weeks to RP off as a crew of four. The fact we've been denied because we helped someone else get a scheme is somewhat understandable - but you've also nuked the lab script for the best part of 80% and now we have 0 roleplay facilitator what so ever, 130 pills is a days worth of RP realistically - four ounce sized deals per 2 weeks, between four people. Prior to this you could make around 750 decent pills per 2 weeks to put into scope how much it was nerfed. I had the same issue with car theft - after realizing pills had been nerfed I sook out a chop-shop and managed to find one... I remembered this being quite profitable where we had the list receiving 20-39 parts for a decent car, this would be able to get you a few lockpicks or a switchblade - or you could sell them on at 300-450 per car part This was fun and interactive, the amounts given left leeway for profits to be split. After securing the link - I linked up with a known car thief and we went out looking, we found a nice expensive car and took it to the dude.... 4 car parts and 1 electric part?????????????? I split the car parts and he generously gave me the electric park - I walked outside and handed 1 car part too the dude who helped me to steal the car, needless to say - silly situation, we'd need to rob about four cars to get a lockpick each. My friends completely left the game because realistically all our illegal RP has been stripped from our concept along with the latest illegal update and the fact that we now have zero to do here given we can't get pills from the dude we taught to make pills - we can't make them our self and profit simply is no longer worth splitting not even in the car chopping - This update was very anti-roleplay in my eyes, killed my groups roleplay at least - how's everyone else feel about the changes made?
  14. Detailed Description - 1, The ability to transfer all your contacts from one to phone another - this would work via a command syntax like /transfercontacts [Giving phone ID] [Receiving phone ID] 2. The ability to pass a phone to someone whilst on call / have loudspeaker pick up nearby voices via /passphone [id] or /loudspeaker -Payphones can't be put on loudspeaker receivers end for some reason too- Relevant Commands/Items /transfercontacts [id] [id] /passphone [id] How will it benefit the server? Just a quality of life improvement - we currently use /pdo for when someone would pass the phone and repeat what they said - this is slightly interruptive towards the flow of RP on times, even if just when on loudspeaker the other people around could speak in would be great. Same for the contacts transferring, in the illegal scene changing phones constantly is a good way to stay under the radar, this will just be a quality of life improvement for those type of RP'ers
