  1. @slobslaya1 The escalation and reasoning for murder here is significantly lacking. Due to the lack of evidence, we can't say Cassidy's actions were intentional or not with any certainty but still the same conclusion.

The two of you are escaping police, a risky thing by nature. One could foresee hitting a spike strip, traffic, crashing and so forth. Cassidy's car had your route blocked, intentionally or not, is not an overly surprising outcome for a police chase. It did not directly result in you guys getting caught and arrested though, the chase continued after this and as you described he got away but later spotted. To me that doesn't sound like it was Cassidy's fault Cesar was spotted again. While yes, if you didn't hit her car it may have turned out differently, or the same. That to me is a big if. It's incredibly difficult to justify a revenge shooting on a complete stranger where this one interaction by chance is the only justification. The second part to this is, Cesar was just caught, Luis narrowly escaped himself, immediately planning a hit on someone after you get away is drawing more heat to yourself, even if you didn't execute the hit yourself. This all happened in the span of 40 minutes.

Overall it is not a realistic, believable progression. It will be an admin jail and not voided.

  2. @slobslaya1

    • Does anyone in your group running from police have any evidence in regards to Cassidy blocking you in?
    • I assume you got away in this chase?
    • How much time elapsed between the chase and shooting Cassidy?
    • Can you expand the rationale for the subsequent shooting? I'm understanding you both narrowly escaped police for a warrant, evading and possession of weapon(s). Did the action of being obstructed by a security car warrant risking that successful escape to exact revenge for intervening? Reasons why less lethal revenge was not taken?

    @TeeHazmat

    • How much time elapsed between the chase and shooting Cassidy?
  3. My concern was less the technicality of whether it was opened or just had closed; but more that it was in front of other characters who could potentially ID, phone 911 or intervene. You waited until others left the area leaving just Anthony who vouches for you and one other random bystander so in that case I'll give you the benefit.

    Concluding.

  4. @Your Strongest Enemy I can see in the logs you came back within 5 minutes so I'll give you the benefit that you lost power/internet. However, you still inadequately roleplayed the effects of a taser. It'd have inhibited your character's movement, shocked your body and been quite painful. To get up and drive a car immediately after is extremely unlikely. Understand you were confused by this scene. However, you should have roleplayed along with it, politely asked if there was confusion, and reported for an admin if needed.

I also don't see anyone moving in from PD to assist with restraining Dritan nor a second deployment of a taser or anything else. So, I can't really say that LEO's on scene fully prevented his escape either.

Dritan is banned and stated will not be responding to this so I will conclude this and note on his record.

  5. Roan hasn't been in game in over a week to respond to this. Per the clip, its a clear break of rule 1 common courtesy avoiding roleplay. It may have been his intent to report for an admin due to a perceived rule break, however only admins can pause roleplay. Player will be ajailed as its not the first instance of avoiding rp on their record.

    To address the other matter,

@Evander Do we think this was the most logical place to start a robbery? Justin is out front of an open business which could have CCTV but at the very least had several eyes around watching this. Some of which could be bodyguards who may or may not be armed themselves. Maybe one of them knows Roan. I understand your intent was to have him drive away to somewhere discrete to rob, but we're still committing a crime with a gun on a busy street in front of an open business here.

  6. @Tiddles Can you provide a bit more context to what happened? I understand a shooting happened and people were running. Looking at the video though I see 8 people run out, some masked, one carrying a melee weapon. I just want to get on the same page for how we identified Dritan as the target here. Also what happened after the video? Did he evade, then log off? Was contact ever made again or was it dropped and pursued in this forum report instead?

  7. To conclude

@HeyIt'sKay! I think the level of fear roleplayed is questionable. I understand as being a Park Ranger she isn't foreign to dangerous situations or people and may be less impacted by fear. Even if she doesn't necessarily fear Colin in this case, she should fear that she only has one life, she's not in an advantageous position and things here could end badly if she isn't careful. Threatening Colin is a risky move when Colin is in an position to end it all, which he did. You may not have meant to imply bodily harm to Colin in your threat, but ultimately it is still a threat of apprehension at a later date.

@O-MagiX Based on what's provided here, there is insufficient escalation to warrant the killing. We started this scene off as compassionate robbers apologizing to Frankie and end at murder over the course of 5 minutes. The nice approach wasn't working on Frankie so that does give you cause for a change in tone and aggression. However there wasn't much escalation in threats from your side. If that still doesn't work,  physical harm wasn't introduced to gain compliance. Less than lethal options were bypassed. End of the day, she was still relatively compliant as she was not physically resisting; you had already gotten the items off her at that point. She hadn't seen your face, and it's hard to take the death threat literal from Frankie; I cannot envision a Park Ranger in these circumstances actually committing murder as revenge for a robbery to warrant a preempted killing. Why would Colin after having got what he wanted off the robbery commit murder on top of that and risk a manhunt on him. Again there is no history from prior encounters or satisfactory escalation within this scene to satisfy me.

There is prior escalation concerns with Magix, so I am factoring that in with an ajail.

  8. @HeyIt'sKay! In the OP you said you had video, can you please supply?

@O-MagiX When was the machete brandished and made known to Frankie? As in, did she see you were armed or have it pressed against her at any point? Based on the screen and logs here, she is either turned away or there isn't an emote seen here that the weapon is against her neck. Thanks.

  9. @HeyIt'sKay!  Do you have any additional dialog logs that could speak to your character's fear of losing their life? What was or would have been stolen off of Frankie at the time?

@O-MagiX So, to ensure I'm on the same page, Colin decided to kill Frankie because of the threats she made with a blade at her throat -- that if he left her alive, she might kill him in response? Beyond what's show above, do you have anything else which lead your character to believe his life could be in danger otherwise?

Is this the first and only interaction between your characters?

If you guys have any final pieces of evidence considered feel free to post now.

  10. @16raks

I can see that Oshea did only take punches/kicks before the death. The injury/death script isn't always perfect, if it had put you in death incorrectly and the damages support that Oshea likely wouldn't have died, you should have /reported the situation to have an admin revive you from death and placed back into injured or whatever the current circumstance called for. You can't just accept death and come back to the same scene and continue where you left off - - again if we were to be voiding your death, it can only be voided by an admin. And well beyond a month later we can't void the death now as there'd be far too much impact on people's progression since then.

There is a lot to unpack as far as rule breaks:

Metagaming: Returning to the scene of your death is against server rules. It negatively impacts other players experience as they just watched Oshea die, how is he realistically back again? It breaks other players immersion. And in this case, leads to metagaming the knowledge of the that shooting that Oshea would obviously not know due to death, to the one in this report against Alexis. You can't carry on the knowledge of your PK death scene into your next life and exact revenge.

Powergaming: In the video it's clearly scene no roleplay to place leading up to the shooting. You only ran script commands to take the weapon from the property. Only ran the script command to put the mask on. Then consumed drugs immediately before running out to shoot Alexis. None of this had any roleplay surrounding it. "/me picks up the shotgun from the closet floor and grabs a mask from the dresser, slipping it over his head and face" for example. Then just consuming drugs just to get the health benefit is the big PG here. Drugs aren't treated like a powerup you just run through. You have to roleplay everything involved with preparing/taking said drug, the drugs effects and the potential for overdose. Just running script commands is not roleplay and gives an unrealistic advantage. Realistically in 20 seconds you can't prep a shotgun, put on a mask and take drugs because you wanna run out and be buffed to shoot someone who is outside before they leave.

Common Courtesy: Real simple, no insulting other players. Clearly seen in the screens in the original post.

You are already on a final warning by root. As such, there will be a ban in this case which due to the final warning in place, any appeal should be addressed to root. who placed the final warning. Right now, your roleplay is not up to server standards. You'll need to serve some time away from the server, come back when you've reviewed and understood the rules. I also suggest this time is used to work on your English writing as it is still difficult to follow. Forum reports aren't in character and should be written clearly.

@xx Also issuing forum warnings to both sides for posting needless youtube music videos to make statements. Reports should stick to the essential facts only.

  11. @Koolaidjammer @KeepYop

I was going to conclude this anyway. Going forward actions need to meet the situation.  I don't think Ashad needed to immediately escalate this to a fight on two people, nor do I think this ever escalated to a point that someone's life was in danger that warranted a shooting.  If thing had only escalated to a fight I'd find that far more reasonable. However we here have a longer drawn out fight, spilling into the car situation and then more fighting. Being knocked out by the brass knuckles should have been roleplayed injuries and things stopped there. If Ashad wasn't standing down at that point, I could potentially see the other flashing a gun at that point as a warning. But not /helpup and start round two. Ultimately what this started out as doesn't warrant a killing - I get back to Jahyear in this situation now risks significant jail time if caught after this, over $15 and a video.

Jahyear is already serving a ban, and don't intend to void as there were contributions from both sides that lead to this outcome.

  12. @Koolaidjammer It is not unreasonable that Jahyear took your actions of filming and offering him $15 as disrespectful. Giving money in that way isn't going to be viewed as friendly and charitable. When it was apparent they didn't like that, you immediately stated you'd break his jaw. So to me, it appears this was done intentionally to get a reaction and to bait them into a 2v1 fight which doesn't make sense to pursue. Why would you be offering someone cash, get told to leave, and immediately threaten to fight 2 verses 1 over this?

@KeepYop  Understanding that Ashad brought some form of reaction on himself, what warranted killing him? It was Jahyear's first interaction with him. Could Jahyear have threatened him with the gun to leave? We're going from a fist fight to wanted for murder. No one's life was in danger at that point. If we circle back to the beginning, this all escalated to killing someone over a $15 and a youtube short.

  13. Since Blazer's intent is to withdraw the report, I'm sticking to the rule break in the clip. It clearly shows Suren scrolling a rifle without roleplay. The rule is clear and speaks for itself:

It is not allowed to scroll weapons without roleplay for the following weapons and situations:

    • Larger melee weapons that would be harder to conceal on your body. (Machete, Fire Axe, Crowbar, Battle Axe, Hatchet, Golf Club)
    • Scrolling a gun in a vehicle will require roleplay regardless of the weapon, this due to the lack of animations in these situations.
      • This also goes for immediately scrolling your weapon after exiting a vehicle, effectively avoiding the animation in the same way. This will require roleplay in the same way as it would within the vehicle.
        • CLARIFICATION: This means when you scroll the gun either within the vehicle, or when doing the exiting animation of the vehicle. As this means the animations overlap and you skip the animation of drawing a gun, it also at times bypasses the /ame that comes up. You're free to scroll it once the animation has played out.
    • Larger caliber and sized weapons such as rifles and shotguns will require roleplay before being scrolled. (PumpShotgun, SawnOffShotgun, DoubleBarrelShotgun, Musket/HuntingRifle, CompactRifle, Assault-/CarbineRifle, SMG, SMGMk2, CarbineRifleMk2 etc.)

    E.G.

    • Player scrolls a Compact Rifle without roleplay in any situation.

This is directly pulled from the servers in game rules.

@carga has not responded. Please familiarize yourself with the weapon scrolling rules in 15 and roleplay your handling of them accordingly.

That’s not a nice gesture, it’s disrespect. You then start a brawl, not once, not twice but three times while using Brass Knuckles. You also knocked two people out the first time so I don't know why you decided to come back in a attempt to start fighting again. You leave the area and come back once again to start another brawl and at that point I gunned you down.

To be clear, was this your first interaction with Ashad having never met the character before -- and these series of reengagements were over the course of the same fight?

Or this is a more prolonged escalation over a series of days? Multiple fights over different days for example.

@Koolaidjammer If you have additional evidence go ahead and post; all of it rather than piecemeal for the interest of time to come to a resolution. Same for @KeepYop if theres anything else you have.
