  1. I am renting out my top floor studio apartment in 1312 Palomino Avenue, an elegant and classic apartment building on the corner of Palomino Avenue and Vespucci Boulevard. The entrance is found in the courtyard, preceded by off-street parking in the form of a gravel driveway (see photos).

I have attached relevant photos documenting every visible part of the apartment, and its outdoor surroundings.

The apartment holds a total of five "Juliet" balconies covering three sides - north, west and south, making for excellent daylight exposure and street level views of the busy area. Basic amenities are within walking distance as are key areas such as Downtown, Vespucci or Rockford.

The apartment is available to rent now, at the listed $20,000 p/w. Respond to this ad, or call/text 5853.

"None of this really seems like a good [defense] or excuse." There is no excuse in there, I explained the incident from our point of view. Like I said, there was a miscommunication and you took it the complete wrong way due to the nature of text-only roleplay.

It's fair enough to assert this as something from your perspective and I'd understand it more that way as well, but to put this forward as if it's some objective truth is just silly.

As I've said before, I thought that you would be okay with a little friendly OOC banter as the situation made me personally laugh quite hard, as well your own, "This is OOC," comment before ramming a lowrider into a van over, and, over, and, over, and, over, and, over again.

Personally speaking, I didn't mind it. But after having learned right and wrong by GTAW's standards, what I saw was a violation of the rule. Now I don't know who's who but Lucas's comment was a fairly tame throwaway which seemed fine on its own, but Fred seemed to want to beat a dead horse in regards to the joke. This is the exact kind of situation in which admins and players tell others to "cut /b" because it's unnecessary.

Regardless, I was used to this sort of stuff before joining GTAW but obviously most players are going to learn how seriously staff take the common courtesy rule, bringing staff attention to it seemed like the right thing to do. I'm not outright attempting to get anyone explicitly punished here, but as a player I don't have the right to tell you two off myself just because I felt like you violated a rule, that's the job of staff, and on the other hand if it isn't a rule violation then an admin will tell me why that's the case.

We asked you to call staff several times because you were disrupting our business, but soon accepted that you wouldn't and joined in with what we perceived as banter, which I now think you are t r o l l i n g.

You're going to have to elaborate on the last part. Do you think this complaint is me trolling, or me ramming the van is trolling?

In LCN circles, they call this flipping the hit, but I'll probably be filing a counter report due to your own breach of rule 1, because like you said, its the players duty to report rule breakers. This is straight from rule 1: You're expected to be roleplaying at all times.

I don't know what the LCN circles part is about but you might as well make that counter report and I'll cooperate, worst case scenario I was wrong for it and the management add it to the list of examples under the rule.

Like I mentioned before, I said my peace and admitted to my wrongdoings. Now its time for you to admit yours.

I might do that but you'd have to be more clear on what you're accusing me of. It might work better in that counter report.

Since you wanna drop all pretenses to courtesy (ironically) and try to start a forum argument with passive aggressive digs and such, I'm going to let @goddessoflife take it from here.

I don't have any reason to make digs at you, it doesn't bring me any closer to an admin conclusion. I think that you took it the wrong way. Unless you have any more questions or answers to mine, I'll also leave it to the admin.

Hey, this is Fred, one of the accused. I'd like to start off with an apology, as I can tell I struck a nerve which was not the intention of my comments. I often "banter" with friends of mine in a similar fashion, and since we're all enjoying the same video game, I thought Shao was a sort of friend in that regard. There was no toxic intent. Onto the meat and potatoes. Shao repeatedly rammed Emily Britson's lowrider into her van to flip it, as it spawned in glitched and on its side, which he also shows in his screenshots. We made those comments in response to the funny scene, so context is important here. The van was now blocking the entrance to the garage of the open mechanic shop were currently working at and using, and we found this quite humorous. We may have went a little overboard on the jokes in some peoples perspectives, but at the end of the day that's exactly what they were, and were never intended to hurt anyone's feelings. Shao got kicked out of the garage in-character due to a commotion, and it's likely this is why the report's posted in the first place.

None of this really seems like a good defence or excuse. We are not friends, I come back to this game a few times a year and don't know either of you. I'd be lying if I said I felt personally slighted by any of it, especially not the last part as I was waiting to leave for quite a while, not just IC but OOC as well. That van shouldn't have come out flipped on its side, it's not our fault that the place you're RPing work at is buggy.

I see a rule being broken, it has to be reported. That's a core part of this community, and I just happened to be part of this incident. There's nothing personal here and again I don't know either of you, common courtesy complaints have gone down for much less in GTA World. I don't know when you joined this server but you should understand the rules better rather than making assumptions to shift blame. It's easier to not say something than say it and potentially get in trouble for it.

  4. Date and Time of incident: 3rd January 2023 6:41PM (server time) (timestamped in evidence)

    Names of witnesses (if applicable):

    Your ingame name: Shao Badman

Overall Explanation (250 word limit) :

I was at a mod garage with a friend whose van was getting painted. I don't know what the employee did to the van but it bugged out and ended up on its side. They couldn't fix it and they wanted it out of the way. Having played this server for a few years I assumed the admin response might be slow because it's a minor issue and /helpme (as I recall) doesn't summon any admins, only helpers who can answer questions, so I took a vehicle and began ramming it because that's the only other way to get a vehicle to tip back over. I told the two nearby players to ignore this as it's an OOC act.

I don't know these two OOC at all but they started making comments anyway when I was ramming the car. Maybe the server's standard has changed now, I haven't got a clue since I come back online on occasion a few times a year but people didn't used to use /b for unnecessary chatter, and Rule 1 apparently still exists, so I can only assume it exists for moments like these. I definitely wouldn't see myself getting away with anything like this without somebody reporting me, I've seen people getting punished for saying a lot less four or five years ago so this report seems necessary.

Accusation 1 (50 words): Common Courtesy (Rule 1) - Unnecessary/disrespectful comments given OOC.

Reported Player(s) Who Broke it: Lucas Moya/Fred Panchak

I think it’s less about the fact that your character is gay or about “conservatism,” and more about the fact that a lot of players like to spark conflict and will use any hook to do so. And typically they want to fight, rob, or kill. Any other more subtle form of harassment or confrontation is not as interesting. You know, flanderization and all that.

i didn't think much of this until the other night when i saw a gang of men chase/beat a woman in the street for calling another woman a whore in a club, then shoot another woman dead for calling 911, there's a clip of it out there as well

i assume this kind of unnecessary escalation happens all the time, people always seem to be charged up for a fight

I think this is an IC issue. We are not in Los Angeles...

i agree with you but try telling that to everyone else and the continuity rule that states los santos replaces los angeles

which makes no sense because los angeles is a major city and this server's los santos is a 2 square mile west coast neighbourhood that floated away from mainland and took all of society's rejects with it

I've noticed less dealerships in general from the peak in 2019, I think most of them deal in just a general stock. I would figure most of their supply comes from the playerbase, which is why there is not a lot of "low end" vehicles in there.

i've noticed the same thing, there used to be plenty of dealerships open but the time i actually wanted to browse some, you'd be lucky if even one opens per day, even luckier if there are any normal everyday cars there

It was a big mistake indeed and I don't understand how they could think splitting the community in two (When LS was already losing players regularly) would be beneficial. I remember when GTAW and FiveRP were fighting together at the beginning of GTA 5 RP... Both servers were struggling because the community was splitted in two, making both servers with a low playerbase... The day FiveRP closed, everyone switched to GTAW and that was the golden era of this server because... IT WAS THE ONLY ENGLISH TEXT BASED server... And now, they just shot themselves in the foot. It would be a mature thing to just accept they did a mistake and fix it.

    someone else who remembers

i've still got screenshots of gtaw and fiverp in january 2018 on gtmp neck and neck at about 18 players in the mid/late afternoon, despite what people say 5rp actually shot itself in the foot by banning people over little things in april which led them over to gtaw
