He grew up there with his family, which consisted of his mother, Maria, and two older brothers Angel and Adriano. Benjamin had a father as well, Rudy. Rudy was not home a lot he was often out and coming home late at night just to tuck Benjamin and his brothers into bed and then leaving early in the morning. This left Benjamin’s mother, Maria alone with all the boys and a house to manage. This amount of pressure that was placed on Maria’s shoulders was too much to handle and every now and then the family had their fall outs with each other, but as a family, they still remained intact and knew that deep inside, they loved each other. Benjamin did not grow up in a nice neighborhood and therefore he was introduced to the wrong sort of friends. They had an incredibly bad influence on him and when Benjamin was 13-14 years old, he spent all of his time with them. Rancho is a tough place and you had to be touched in order to survive. Benjamin learned this the hard way and was jumped by a rival clique one late night on his way home from the local grocery store. He had to spend the night with his mother in the local hospital with broken ribs and a concussion. After the incident Benjamin began to hang-out with the local gang members of Rancho 13 members. One of the local OG's who goes by the name of Hazard had a positive impact on Benjamin's behavior in the streets of Rancho making him a hard headed peewee Benjamin began doing robberies, and selling dope for the function.
