December the 3rd, a violent shooting occurs at Vespucci Beach housing projects. Two were badly injured after what appeared to be a conflict which escalated into a brawl, and eventually a gun was fired by one of the suspects. Witnesses say that the shooting occurred late that night, after two Caucasian males approached an Asian boy, probably in his late teens, early adulthood. The three exchanged a few words and the two Caucasian males started to swing at the main suspect, it is known that the suspect's affiliations were related to the local crip gang, the Asian Boyz. The affiliate pulled out a firearm and fired seventeen rounds, hitting one of the two, once in the neck and twice in the stomach, Jeremy Reynolds one of the victims died on the scene. Later that night the Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums unit did their best to crack down the recent wave of shootings in the Magellan Avenue area of the Vespucci disctrict, leading to the arrests of three key figures in Vespucci's criminal assortment.  Jhonel Vargas, a member of the Asian Boyz street gang was one of the key suspects in the case, he was arrested earlier this morning by the gang unit officers, after his home was raided, Vargas was taken in for questioning regarding the recent shooting. Officials are still working on the case, further actions will be taken next week when Jhonnel's trial begins.
