OOC

This faction is a loosely structured mixed-ethnicity street gang headed by a connection of powerful transnational criminals, the groups roots stem from MENA (Middle-Eastern North-African) immigrants, however in 2022 the group seems to be ethnically versatile with numerous members heavily Americanized and disconnected from their blood-nationalities.

The group has very small notability in Los Santos underworld - merely an loosely structured gang of drug dealers, assassins, robbers and petty criminals. The clan is headed by a group of small-scale yet growing international traffickers and businessmen with ties to the Moroccan Mafia in Europe

As a faction, we aim to become a key player in the Los Santos drug and weapon trade through maritime smuggling - the first stages of our development will involve going from a street dealing gang into an organized crime group revolving around the trafficking of narcotics and weapons into the state of San Andreas.

The Kouachi Clan

Early History

The Kouachi Clan is a multi-race organized crime group based in Los Santos, USA. It was founded in 2006 by Youssef Ismail and developed into a large scale narcotic distribution ring in 2009 by US born Moussa "Pablo" Kouachi of Moroccan decent. Koauchi was the cousin and relative of numerous ranking members from the Antwerp based 'Turtle Clan' or 'El Yousfi Crime Family' notably the youngest blood relative of Nacerdine Turtle. Kouachi's family immigrated to the USA in 1992 with the hope of separating themselves from their notoriously violent Turtle counterparts, Kouachi's siblings all went on to work in respectable sectors - his oldest brother being a neurosurgeon. Kouachi suffered from ADHD and struggling in school - he dropped out in freshman year. Kouachi began to sell hashish under his 21 year old Oujdian cousin Youssef Ismail which eventually spiralled out of control, two years later by 2006 (aged 16) Kouachi had left his family home and was entirely submerged by a life of crime; involved in the distribution narcotics, armed robberies and motor theft.

Kouachi had banded up with a group of teenagers from Moroccan, Egyptian, Algerian, Libyan and Arab descent under the leadership of his cousin Youssef and three other Moroccan and Algerian criminals - notably Algerian Hakim Tidjani (Born Abdelkader Douati) who at the time was a 25 year old trafficker with connections to the Turkish and Lebanese mafia through his involvement with an Algerian based human smuggling ring. Tidjani had obtained French citizenship in 1999 under his new alias and immigrated to Canada in 2003 where he became a mule for the Dutch-Belgium based Moroccan Mafia aka 'The Bouyakhrichan Organisation' headed by notable gangsters Samir 'Scarface' Bouyakhrichan and Houssine Ait Soussan, distributing cocaine trafficked into Canada through Columbia.

It was between 2006 and 2008 that the group started to face hostilities from rival gangs which instigated a much more violent nature within the group, these rivalries sparked the formation of structure within the group - a structure that is now known as The Kouachi Clan. Kouachi reached out to his Belgian cousins of The Turtle Clan who after visiting and meeting with the leadership, including Tidjani, extended their organization to sponsor the Kouachi Clan of 60+ members. As an extension of the Turtle Clan, the group was supplied through Peruvian trafficking lines. These developments placed a now 19 year old Kouachi as the groups primary leader and figurehead. It was also at this time that the Belgium based Turtle Mafia started to gain tension with their rivals lead by Bouyakhrichan 'Scarface' and Ait Soussan known internationally as The Bouyakhrichan Organisation . Tidjani - a long-term mule for the group, extended support in the form of intelligence towards the Turtles which helped form a closer relationship between the groups.

In late 2009 the Turtle mafia allowed Kouachi's autonomy in operation and instead began to supply the group with Peruvian cocaine at a mid to high price range from Antwerp, a city dubbed ''Borgerokko' or 'The Coke Capital' due to the crimes committed by the Turtle's amongst numerous other notable organizations in the region. This helped the group's leadership to grow financial capital which they used to facilitate and develop the distribution of said narcotics across the State of San Andreas. It's estimated that the Kouachi group had over 130 functioning street-level distribution lines manned by over 200 members throughout San Andreas, they where making an estimated $500,000 per week between 2008 and 2012.

Mocro-oorlog (Mocro War)

In February 2012, with the intel and support of West Indian Turtle ally Gwenette Martha, members of the Turtle stole 200 kilos of cocaine from the Port of Antwerp intended for organizations headed by Martha's childhood friend Benaouf Adaoui, notorious Ait Soussan and millionaire oil baron and international drug trafficker Samir Bouyakhrichan. In return the Macro organizations promised an infinite war against the Turtles. Houssine Ait Soussan employs a group of kidnappers to kidnap Kouachi's teenage cousin and youngest member of the El Yousfi family, sending the family a picture of the young Turtle sequestered against a meat grinder. The Turtles paid a ransom to Bouyakhrichan's organization and the majority of the El Yousfi family fled to Morocco, during this time numerous El Yousfi houses and luxury cars where riddled with bullets and set aflame. Najeb Bouhbouh, the right-hand man of Martha, takes the initiative to solve the problem by accepting an invitation from Chris Bouman (member of the Ait Soussan gang) to Antwerp in a hotel. When Bouhbouh leaves the hotel, he is shot dead by a contract killer. The death of Najeb Bouhbouh is a trigger for the intensification of assassinations through the Mocro Mafia.

In the December of 2012 Benaouf is targeted in a Turtle lead shooting, two of his associates die instantly however Benaouf survives, escaping on foot. He is arrested two months later in the February on 2013 and Omar Lkhorf takes his place as the leader of the organization.

In the July of 2013, Kouachi and Tidjani are targeted in Los Santos by assassins from the Irish Kinahan Clan hired by Lkhorf, Kouachi recieved the majority of the bullets and died instantly - Tidjani was shot 9 times and hospitalized for 4 months however survived. With the organizations right hand man hospitalized, Tidjani assigned Mohamed Mazari as the interim leader of the organization until Tidjani made a recovery. The following month, Martha's close associate Najib Himmich betrayed him and met with Bouyakhrichan to discuss a multi-million euro investment into containers of cocaine. Martha hears of the betrayal after escaping from Zutphen prison and begins to conspire his assassination however before the plan was put into action - Martha was assassinated by Bouyakhrichan himself in Amsterdam. Three months later Bouyakhrichan was gunned down by Martha's relatives, sitting at a table in an Amsterdam hotel.

After Kouachi's Death

Following the death of clan leader Pablo Kouachi, Tidjani took control of the organization. The shooting that lead to the death of Kouachi and the hospitalization of Tidjani instigated investigation however eventually faded out of the limelight without any evidence implying Tidjani's criminal involvement. The bachelor trafficker, legally known on US soil as Hakim Tidjani however born Abdelkader Douati began to use different identities, vehicles and homes in order to avoid detection from his European based rivals. With the death of Bouyakhrichan, the incarceration of Ait Soussan, and the immense amount of loss of life both organizations suffered - Tidjani was able to operate relatively stress free, not once being arrested nor targeted by rivals.

The Algerian born Tidjani was able to retain the Peruvian connections made through Kouachi despite his death, Tidjani would meet with Kouachi's Turtle/El Yousfi relatives in Dubai regularly and was able to maintain and develop the trafficking links towards his group.

2015-2022

Between 2015-2022, Tidjani delegated the control of Los Santos to Mazari whilst maintaining his position as the head of the family. Tidjani would go on to do business in the UAE with members of the Turtle clan, namely in property. He would go on to enter the textile business in the United Kingdom, holding part-ownership of a large scale designer fabric company which is used, unbeknownst to the company, as a means of trafficking narcotics. Tidjani began purchasing numerous businesses across the United States between 2017 and 2022, owning numerous Sushi and Asian food restaurants, aswell as being a partner in a Las Venturas casino.

Tidjani returned to Los Santos and reclaimed his position as the leader of the clan in late 2022, reinstating Mazari as his right hand man. Now with the facilities to money launder and seamlessly traffic narcotics internationally without intervention or middlemen - Tidjani aims to build the clan into a strong name in the Los Santos underworld, using the large membership base and standing in Los Santos to both rake in large sums of money whilst also taking control over Los Santos' drug market.
