The 113th Chamberlain Clique, also known as C-Clique are a gang formed within the poor and diminishing community surrounding Chamberlain. Rumoured to be founded within the 50s their presence on streets has been extremely unknown. While keeping on the low most members of this community have been struggling to keep their families and peers fed while balancing overwhelming and exhausting hours. As money in that area had slowly become scarce, people began to dabble within generic “hustling” within small time drugs and the occasional narcotics. As their rates of illegal activities increased in their cases of trying to earn a living some members began to slowly become more and more influenced within the gang scene, members of the Chamberlain Clique had a taste of the money it almost began to lead into an addiction for some.

As members of the Clique began to grow a slow addiction to illegal activities and the life of a gang member, their rates of criminal activity began to almost sky rocket into placing themselves onto the map. Their constant dabbing, slowly morphing into a way of life caused the police to begin knocking on doors in the attempt of seizing the contraband in which the Clique almost relied on to provide for their family and peers. With little to none resistance from the small community at the time, they began to slowly take more and more precautions in the need of keeping their business safe from nearby gangs and the government as they’d begin to organise themselves into more of an actual gang. As their methods were changing and becoming more sly the Clique began to abuse the fact they were a community, exploiting the innocence younger children to exchange product for them.

Being established as almost a fully gang in the late 2000s the original name was heavily influenced by their first ever “trap house”, being under the numbered flat 113. This number is almost iconic to the gang members and even to the members of the community surrounding them, often being used as their slang for contraband used in dialogue such as “Any word on the 113?” or “I’m carrying 113”. The block surrounding 113 was soon to be seen as the hotspot for the gang as they often used that area to recruit, sling and store. While most members of the community accepting it as it illegal activities were seen as one of the few ways to make a living within the hood some members were too scared to speak up about their reluctance and refusal to endorse within illegal activities.

As their presence rose those who claimed to be fully fledged members of the gang began to rock black bandannas and rags, hanging them from the back of their trousers as means of repping their gang alongside having Clique related tattoos. Alongside the means of repping their gang they began to place wannabe members into means of initiations such as withstanding beatings from fully fledged Clique members or doing illegal acts such as stabbings, robberies and other related crimes.
