A shootout among members of a rival gang in a busy shopping plaza in Del Perro Boulevard and Prosperity St. left at least 4 people dead, creating chaos in a sprawling parking lot packed with afternoon shoppers, law enforcement officials said.

 

The gunfire erupted about 09:15 p.m. where the fight spilled into the parking lot. LS police officers were already near the scene when the confrontation unfolded.

 

“ There were multiple people on the scene firing weapons at each other ” LS Police Department spokesman said.
