Thomas was primarily on his own throughout his childhood, he had barely been brought up in the middle class. Even though Mancetta was pampered at times by his father's second source of income, the norms of the law-abiding society became awkward for him and this naturally began to lean Mancetta further toward the darker side of life in his youth. Thomas' father maintained a managerial position superficially within a mattress store in Leamingford, this was to mask his father's side occupation regarding his association with the Pavano Crime Family within neighboring Liberty City. Every now and then he would disappear and leave Thomas with Amelia for extensive periods of time spanning as long as a week to a month. The Mancetta family's luck wasn't changing anytime soon, at this point they had moved to Roslin Park and Thomas was still working at a local convenience store as a cashier whenever he wasn't stealing from others even though he had also skimmed register proceeds from the very establishment of which employed him. He had eventually become one with the rampant criminal environment of Carcer City outside of his attempts to get properly educated. Present In his later teens, Thomas would go on to live in Los Santos due to internal conflicts inside his family and those of whom he had associated with in Carcer City. He sought to finish some if not most of his high school and college education. Thomas had temporarily moved in with his cousin, Benjamin, to keep financially afloat as he settled into San Andreas. It was here where Thomas met George, Deno and Frank. Thomas felt no indifference to them and would go on to work alongside them in their later years. Most of his activities heavily revolved around what he had done back in Carcer, this being his utmost area of expertise. Today, he continues to do so.
