  2. Two Dead in Fatal Taxi Shooting Tuesday, January 30th 2024. Photograph of taxi with bullet holes. The streets of Los Santos were shaken tonight after a taxi driver and his fare become victims to brutal gun crime which plagues the city. The shooting took place on Adams Apple Boulevard. In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a hard working taxi driver was travelling with his fare in Downtown Los Santos where they became victims of a shooting. This happened just one block away from two of Los Santos' popular night-life destinations, which were swarming with revelers at the time of the shooting. Adams Apple Boulevard and surrounding streets were littered with shell casings, suggesting that the taxi was targeted and this was an intentional attack. A passer-by discovered the horrific scene on their commute. There, they were faced with a double homicide, committed in the beating heart of our city. Photograph of crime scene. It is suspected that this was an attack of sheer cold heartedness, or mistaken identity. Both the driver and the second victim are yet to be named by authorities, we can confirm that both males were between the ages of 20-30. The Coroner was present at the scene, where both victims were removed from the location in body bags. Their cause of death is not yet confirmed, however, images from the scene show that their vehicle was barraged by bullets before they lost their lives. Photograph of Coroner removing bodies. We are yet to receive a statement from the Los Santos Police Department regarding this killing of two innocent members of the community, however, the presence of one single officer paints the worrying picture of the police's response to the callous murder of two innocent members of society.
