  1. KPCC Eastside Kelly Park Carson Crips formerly known as the Kelly Park Hustlers during the 1980s, are a predominately African-American street gang located on the eastside of Carson. The founder of Ruthless Records and lead member of N.W.A., Eric Wright, grew up in this neighborhood and eventually became a member of this gang. During his teens and early 20s he had a reputation of being an effective hustler and merged his money with the musical talents of Andre Romelle Young who lived nearby on Harris Avenue and eventually formed the group N.W.A in 1986. Rapper Richard “Tweedy Bird” Johnson was a gang members from KPCC who became a rapper and was inspired by the success of Eazy E, but was never signed to Ruthless Records. Rapper AWOL who was a KPCC was a member of the Nationwide Rip Ridaz rap group during the early 1990s. The Newborns Currently in the "newborn" generation, the E/S Kelly Park Compton Crips have been a long standing and active street gang since their conception. Two prominent members of the gang, "KLOC#4" (Daronte Wells) & "Wipeout" (Sheldon Greene), are believed to be the main players in keeping the gang's illegal activities afloat and functional. KPCC are infamous for their rampant dissing in music, both past and present, with social media in the current day only allowing for more violence and unrest to develop. On July 2nd 2019, a prominent member of KPCC, Jermaine Beckford A.K.A "Smaccdown" was ambushed and shot dead whilst attempting to meet his ex, and patch things up between them. Four members of the Holly Hood Pirus disembarked from a grey Ford Focus and began firing shots at Beckford, striking and killing him instantly in the hail of bullets. THE SET Kelly Park's turf starts down at The Tahitian Complex on Carson Avenue, and stretches all the way up to the BJ Smith Recreational Centre. Members can mostly be seen active on the frontlines of Carson Avenue, or in the alley behind the complexes, which is where all Put On's, DP's, and even Put Off's take place. The newer generation of KPCC is known to be overly aggressive, and are known to check any unknowns seen roaming within the turf. U.S. District Judge James L. Robart agreed with prosecutors' recommendation that BRADFORD serve nearly four years in prison. According to court records, on February 11, 2006, WELLS and co-defendant Devonne Michael Lee, both of whom were members of the Kelly Park Crips (Carson, San Andreas), were arrested in the parking lot of a Safeway store on Rainier Avenue South. While sitting in the car, BRADFORD, at Lee’s direction, sold crack cocaine to a third man. Additional crack cocaine and a Sig Sauer 9mm semiautomatic pistol were found inside the engine compartment of Lee’s car. At Lee’s home agents and local police officers found more than $15,000 in cash. Lee entered guilty pleas to Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine Base and Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Drug Crime on May 18, 2006, and will be sentenced December 4, 2006. In asking for the 20 year sentence Assistant United States Attorney John Lulejian wrote to the court that BRADFORD, “despite a conviction in the Eastern District of Washington for the identical conduct, extended the Kelly Park Crips’ tentacles to the local community, where they expanded the reach and scope of their criminal enterprise.” The case was an Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) investigation, providing supplemental federal funding to the federal and state agencies involved. The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration's Mobile Enforcement Team and ATF, with assistance from the San Fierro Police Department East and West Precincts Anti-Crime Teams. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney John J. Lulejian and Special Assistant United States Attorney Adam W. Cornell.
