    Remove crate requests for businesses that can't afford them

    Please do this.

    It's annoying to see so many extrapays on top(pending for a while) not being able to afford crates, situated in counties and when you go there after hauling your ass and realize they don't even have money and the route is cancelled is just annoying. 

     

    If a business cannot afford crates, remove them from list and cancel all their orders. Once they have money, they can order crates again.

    Multidrop is possible. You just  have to count it yourself. After 2-3(depending on your wish and vehicle type) crates, you can get in your van again and do /startshipment and it'll show you number of places where you can deliver the content of your van/truck.

    Detailed Description: Businesses are trying to get their business prioritized by putting forward unreasonable amount of crates requested for their businesses. I cannot name the business because my forum name correspond to my IC name and it'll create OOC conflict but a business ordered 26,000~ crates with EXTRA PAY of $350. Now since all truckers are focusing on profit(cuz why not), they'll of course deliver it to those inflated crate requests.  Please add something that caps on number of crates a business can order. For example, a thousand or two thousand crates. I've seen businesses oftentimes ordering number of crates that goes above their bank balance, which further causes problems to the truckers as it gets cancelled midway because the business no longer has the fund to get the crates. So my suggestion towards fixing this would be as followed - 

    • Add capacity on number of crates requested at a time. For example, a business can't have more than 1,000 crates request pending at a time. Or better, based on the interior size, add the capacity. This can be tedious as it varies from business to business but it would also make it more meaningful to not  hold 20k crates whilst having a small garage.

    My two cents are that as a trucker, I prioritize extrapays and it is the only reason why I still do trucking after 750 madness-filled deliveries. And mechanic garage are always exploiting their high income and cheap crate requests. To avoid this, please nerf the amount of crates that can be "pending" at a time and/or limit the ability to order number of crates(per price) based on their business bank balance. 

     

    Another suggestion of mine would be to  please fix the drop point for duck's sake. Sometimes it can be tedious to unload crates at businesses with drop point inside their store. It makes me annoyed and based on my observation, even with extrapays, those businesses are often ignored. Most affected one by this are clothing stores(for example the Posonbys) and some 24/7.

    How will it benefit the server? It will hopefully solve the crisis where bunch of truckers are doing the same loop routes again and again whilst other small profit businesses(like clothing and 24-7s) are ignored because they can't afford extrapays.

    In this Traffic Petition to the Superior Court, Emily Grace alleges that a miscarriage of justice has been undertaken by the Los Santos Sheriff's Department on 14/DEC/2021 in regards to a traffic violation, that is henceforth requiring immediate judicial relief in regards to the following charges;

    • IC 404. Speeding

    In support of the case for providing judicial relief to the charges, a detailed narrative of events shall be provided to the court in order to ascertain the reason(s) for why the charges are being challenged;

    As a full time commercial vehicle trucker, as in, trucker, I was operating my vehicle in the morning of Tuesday, 14th December 2021 at Los Santos Port Terminal. At the entrance of the port, there is a downwards slope which may have caused my truck, which in this case, is a Pounder, to speed up a little which should be no more than 66 miles/hour. Your honor, I am not aware of the exact speed I was going but as a full time driver and having a record of more than 600 deliveries and roughly two thousand miles driven in past two years, the downwards slope is indeed a cause of little speed increase. In addition to that, when I was pulled over by Deputy Rodriguez, he asked me for my license and registration immediately without informing me why I was pulled over. I did not ask him as it's a standard way of deputies asking of documents first and then informing why I was pulled over. I continued to comply with him and then he went to his SUV, and came back with the ticket. I wasn't informed of the reason why I was pulled over in the entirety of this interaction. 

    Your Honor, the IC 404 mentions that drivers must use their fair judgement to make sure vehicles are in proper speed, depending on road condition and I did exactly that. With my truck being a Pounder, a vehicle that weighs multiple tons, the slight increase of the speed was out of my area of control and was imminent. I try my best to slow down the vehicle as I go through intersections and stop signs and I also am a law abiding citizen. With that being said, I request a leniency in this case and request my charge being dropped. I accept I may have gone a little above the speed limit but it was completely out of my control and also I did not possess any danger to the traffic as there was no vehicle nearby, nor was there any incoming turns that may have been intersected by the road where I was operating. I agree this is not an excuse to drive above the speed limit, but I also request my previous statement being considered while making the judgement. Thank you.

    In support of the provided narrative, the following evidence shall be submitted into the court record;

    In conclusion of this petition. The plaintiff affirms that all information submitted is accurate, and truthful given all the information and evidence available, and that this shall be the official petition submitted for the Superior Court to commence proceedings.

    Panic is only to be used in life-threatening situations anyway. So the fact they have to actually open chat and type it, and roleplay using it in a situation where they're being shot at or otherwise in danger is nerf enough. If you can't stop that from happening then it's fair game. The quick response is a balance of the fact that you can get basically five blocks away within a minute in GTA's map. Giving people a 30 second grace is as good as allowing them to go and sit anywhere else in the city.

     

    The whole point of it is to try and peserve the life of the person using it. If a delay of anything over like 10 seconds is used, they become useless in the context of GTA and how fast you can move from A to B. May as well get rid of the alarm at that point and just force them to radio "Mayday, Location." It'll be faster and more effective.

     

    We have a crime rate miles more unrealistic than what it should be with MCI's and people dying hourly each day. Any suggestions to lower this with OOC rules or boundries is met with people saying keep it IC. So of course if so many people are dying I think its certainly fair to allow cops quick response times and a useful panic button. Advocating the panic button to be more useless just advocates more people to shoot at cops cause it's a whole lot easier to get away when you get a nice little grace period. And if anything, we need less shootings. Not more.

    Yea, but those who are not donators and are willing to help newbies, they should be allowed to post links in support. I know, this may sometimes attract spam, but how about only allow those who has been a part of discord server for like a month?

    Hi.

     

    Speaking based on personal experience and speculations. Sometimes a certain IP address(es) allocated to you by your ISP maybe flagged by one of the connection route of the server in firewall, the IP address's previous owner was either hacked or was involved in malicious activity. This can often times break connectivity. In other instances, it could be because of ISP imposed firewall on certain ports sometimes because someone else in your ISP's network is getting DDoS'ed or for whatever reason ISP is throttling. There are many reasons behind the problem you're facing, and it's fine. 

     

    How to tackle?

    I use Cloudflare WARP to tackle this issue. Cloudflare acts like a VPN, however, it's main goal is to encrypt your datapackets and prevent your ISP from snooping into your traffic by making changes in your connection, and DNS. Sometimes it may also hide your IP, but most of the time, it's open. The main thing it does is, it changes your connection route to Cloudflare's global network of datacenters and take you to the destination server as fast as possible, which in this case, is GTA World's OVH route. Best part? WARP is free. No, I do not work for cloudflare. I'm just trying to help.

     

    You can check https://1.1.1.1 and download their app. I use it, and whenever my ISP is acting funny, I just turn it on and it cuts any potential lag.

    Also note, this isn't ideal for daily browsing. Sometimes it can trigger captcha for sites who have high security enabled because as always, its a VPN IP and it can flag you suspicious. If you are forced to solve captchas, solve it once and turn it off. Use it only while gaming.
