  1. i've got a job, rent, friends and a life outside of the game. sometimes, i gotta log out, and then the next day, i only got about an hour to log in and try and get some rp going. if i gotta spend a good amt of that driving around bc i suddenly had to log and i happened to be in the middle of the damn road, that punishes me and my rp for having a life outside the game imo. it would mean i now have to even cut my rp short to make time for driving. during the drive there's also rp that can happen that you can't just log out from, which then cuts into my time i should be getting ready for bed and sleeping bc i gotta get up at 6 in the goddamn morning again. then of course, if you gotta /changechar because you need to go AFK, you now are forced to spawn in wherever the hell you happened to be.

tl;dr it doesn't add to rp for me and would actually take some away. this is a game and we have lives outside of it.

That’s only once they have you at gun point. That’s what I’m saying. The same way yall think getting ur point is incomprehensible to us, it’s incomprehensible to illegal RPers how the fuck yall can’t see a robbery coming. If you’ve gotten robbed this many times, you would and should be ICly paranoid about it happening. Just stay close to your car, keep a gun and keep your head on a swivel it’s pretty simple.

If illegal RPers can avoid simply getting shot (which is way easier than robbing someone) while still RPing outside during a faction war, yall should be able to avoid getting robbed when you can clearly see 2 - 4 masked people spinning around your area. Y’all are just not situationally aware at all and you want to over exaggerate the situation cuz of your own failing. Which by the way is not our problem, it’s yours.

Then y’all want to make masks be worn only upon admins approval. Which sounds to me like you guys basically want an OOC mask rule so if you see somebody wearing a mask you know they are for sure looking to rob people. Meanwhile illegal RPers already assume that somebody wearing a mask is either sliding on or robbing people (common sense btw) which is why we barely get robbed.

    and thats facts

  3. the OP in completely good faith: what should we do about characters being needlessly and in many cases OOCly locked away from RP and isolated?

    yall mfers: create an alt

the POINT here was to discuss alternatives to locking a character out of RP / isolating them from RP on an RP server, and how it's existence seems like an OOC punishment and goes against the intended nature of the server itself. if your answer is "simply do not play that character", you have missed the point and are not here for a productive conversation.

  4. i made a post once about how 48 hour investigation hold was essentially an OOC punishment for being adjacent to an illegal scene, and i am willing to bet you're going to get a lot of the same responses. "try not being guilty" and "detective RP is more important than yours", etc etc. good fucking luck.

fwiw i think a good compromise for it would be requiring station RPers to visit the holding cells every now and then just so there's *someone* for those locked up to talk to, but even suggesting that got me flamed. it's just another example of how illegal RPers are treated like our time is worth infinitely less than legal RPers, which is an issue that extends far beyond the scope of 48 hour investigation holds, but that's a thread for another time 😉

Poly Terror is a crew of Polynesian and Southeast Asians with a background in gang crime. The founding crew is made up of a group of Polynesian former gang members that developed into organized career criminals over the course of several years. New members are usually characters who have survived growing up in local Polynesian gangs (SOS, TCG, MBZ, etc.) and have settled into whatever illegal rackets that sustain them into adulthood.

  6. Now that it's established the relationships between Paisa Alliance and Island Pride were cordial until random inappropriate escalations like this, hopefully the nastiness around this situation can come to a quick close.

I'm confused as to the context of the conversation as it doesn't match what @Rjekasis saying:

It was also asked why we assumed these people were working for Paisa - the answer is simple. They claimed it was "their hood", and the only other faction that shares that part of the road with our faction is Paisa Alliance. It had nothing whatsoever to do with a name, and in fact was a bit confusing as Betty Buckley and Kyle Lockett are clearly not hispanic. It seemed to be the beginning of some confusing escalations, which were only later made more confusing by repeated violent incidents with a faction that had, as said earlier by the reporting party, "welcomed us" into "their hood".

I also have a conversation where Kyle Lockett's player admits that it was wrong to PK Keoni, and that they were "more than happy to void it", when in reality they PM'd him proud of the kill. I will show the rest of the conversation to @Jai. gladly if asked.

Extremely suspicious that the clips provided have no sound as well.

I think Keoni's player answered pretty succinctly, and there is also very clear evidence that he was VDM'd included in his answer. (You can actually see some OOC coordination happening in /cb as well in the clip.)

Honestly, it seems as though this entire report is in retaliation to a report Keoni's player had made on these very same players, found here:

I think everything that needs to be said has been said and all appropriate questions have been answered. Hopefully this helps conclude this report faster.

  7. Hey, Ana Kekoa here.

@Rjekas, I'm not sure if you play Kyle Lockett, but you and I have actually spoke about that situation and you seemed pretty reasonable about it. As for the PK on the road - You agreed that it was reasonable for the person to have ID'd you considering they emoted eyeing through the glass, stayed long enough to talk to you and feel you out, and so on. You're also aware that as in the clip and screenshots above, I didn't see you at all until your name was red and you were underneath my vehicle - it wasn't until I saw someone else's POV that I realized you had walked underneath it on purpose. I'm really not sure what to make of that situation. In my original POV, you popped up off the ground with your gun in your hands. Tony was telling you that you can't force something, and I didn't know until I saw the clip what he meant - I believe he's referring to you trying to force me into a violent situation by walking into the car on purpose. Again, you seemed reasonable enough when we spoke so I didn't think this was going to turn out to some strange back-and-forth trying to paint people as willfully malicious, so I certainly hope that's not what happened here.

@Howen As far as I'm aware, Tony saw you beating on someone, and then moved around the corner to get a better look without being spotted. Obviously, he wasn't stationary in one spot using his third eye - people have legs. He also DOES get closer to see the situation - he immediately rushes to tell someone what he saw, and get a ride to the store for a better look. That's literally what half of this report is about, apparently.

Although Tony is no longer in the faction, I think his behavior was appropriate for that particular situation. As for the Keoni situation at the store, I don't have direct knowledge of what happened. I do know that Keoni works at that store all the time though, so that being true isn't out of the realm of possibility.

@Jai. I can share the conversation between myself and Kyle Lockett's player if you like, let me know.

Thanks, sorry for not realizing this existed until now!

@KFA Hey, we do not do voids upon agreement.

Did anyone break a rule? If so, who, what and when?

To be clearer (sorry) the incident that CAUSED the shooting was voided by Gigabyte/Khatz as shown in the screenshots - but they were not made aware by admins that the situation was voided, so was acting on voided roleplay.
