    Stealing Vehicles and /FixVeh

    I mean ... If we're talking about stealing a car to destroy it, why leave a cim and not make actual use of the game mechanics and burn it? 

     

    Some information to consider:

    /fixveh cannot be used on cars that are already spawned for a while

     

    Cars that are chopped are unavailable for a few hours and even then, must be picked up at impound (or /vg'd & /fixveh'd but only after a few hours)

     

    Cars that are burned, I THINK also become unavailable for a few hours. But even if they're not, it's a clear consequence of something that happened and nobody can ignore a burning car, rather than a /cim

     

    I once had my poor Pfister's tyres slashed in the alley of the Blue Lion, so I ended up getting a ride home that night. But next day, when I sat down to play? Yeah, no, I off-screened having it towed and repaired and just /fixveh'd the car. But for the entire night, it was there for anyone to try stealing it

    Aging a character?

    It's hard to ignore when someone goes to jail for a week or two IRL, and come back out, and get back involved in things that don't take into account they're a year older.

     

    This is a common occurrence in ULSA, where you have characters that RP 1:1 and characters that want to spend the minimum time possible the faction, get their degree and RP their college years and move on to another faction for their development. 

     

    The way ULSA handles this is pretty straightforward, even if a bit janky: "It's up to the aging player to sort out continuity issues. If you want to age up, you cannot force others to do it with you. It's up to you to sort out any mixups" and if it's not possible, then you should avoid mentioning conflicting events. 

     

    In my time in ULSA I aged up enough years for an MBA and my development. Other characters have gone from late thirties (when we first met) to pushing 50s. I also "knew" the current chancellor when he was still a student and right now he is almost the same age as my character

     

    We just "ignore" these for the sake of RP

    If you want to know more about my tenure in ULSA, ask those I worked with, not those I blocked from coming over for their predatory needs.

    As far as how I run a party, I fail to see how you might know anything about it, considering you are fine to use my research for your own needs, but refuse to collaborate, or talk to the Chairman of your opposition.

     

    Any hopes of bipartisanship collaboration in this city are crushed daily, by you and yours. Not by us. Our door always remains open. It's you who thinks you can act like a 17 year old on the Internet, and call it "mature politicking".

    The Original Interview has been posted separately when someone in your staff had the courage to call you off for your misgynistic, archaic opinions and misguided notions on what is pornography or not. 

     

    Whoever that brave soul was that had the guts to tell you in your face that you were wrong, deserves my mad respect. 

     

    You are wrong. You may know how to run a port, and you may know how to run a city - both of which are values that you will not see me in dispute of - but you are a product of a previous era and you know nothing about society in 2024, or how to address the real social needs of our home.

     

    Leave people with much better understanding and experience to do this.

    Comment: You cannot expect any less in the comments section. The fact that Los Santos is filled with ultra-conservatives with very easily hurt sensibilities is well known. It also serves no purpose to try and educate the difference between pornography, nudes and "nudity as art". 

    To all the team at Diversify: Great work on this issue, and please keep pushing the boundaries against the Dark Ages they're trying to impose on us. This is 2024. We owe to ourselves to be more enlightened moving forward.

    This is the second time you tell me you'll reach out with recent incidents over discord. Last time you never did. 

     

    Finally, we have LFM mandated channels exactly for reasons like this, so we don't have to air disagreements over the forum and look like internet trolls. As faction leaders, that's how we should act and not in this childish manner. 

     

    If you have evidence, share them where they're due. Either LFM channels or my discord. Name calling just to create impressions and shape opinions is lame. You're GOP in game only, not in real life.

    Hello! 

     

    As per CCTV rules here, I have a question

     

    in interiors now we MUST use the new CCTV script items in order to RP CCTV 

     

    What is the correct role-play in the following scenario:

     

    You work at a business. Someone comes in and causes trouble. They situation escalates and police is called. 

    Police arrives and ask for a record of your CCTV. 

    Do you : 

    1) give them a copy of the log from the CCTV platform

    2) give them a copy of the log from the CCTV platform and a shadowplay along with a screenshot of your CCTV to determine angle

    3) something else?

     

    The reason I'm asking is that in many cases, the placement of actors (players) in a scene is crucial. The securoserv platform gives pure text. No placement information. The shadowplay is from your own perspective, not from the camera's. 

     

    So, what will it be acceptable to give here to ensure both fairness for the perpetrator but also correct portrayal of the CCTV?

    The City of Los Santos has officially announced that Elections for the City Council are going to take place. The San Andreas Democracit Party, in turn, would like to announce that we are accepting applications for people who wish to take part in the elections as candidates for your district. 

     

    Interested to make a change? take a look at the requirements below:

     

    1. You must be actively involved in the district you wish to represent - Either you must live there, or your primary business must be there
      (A district map is included below for your convenience)
    2. Be 25 years of age, or older
    3. Maintain a positive public image and no felonies on your record
    4. Must possess a United States Citizenship
    5. Be a member of the Democratic Party or join us to run on our behalf but supporting our party agenda an beliefs

    In the event of a character with a background that involved criminal ties, or engaging in criminal activities, LFM REQUIRES you to explain in your application both the extent of your involvement as well as your plans on how you plan to keep a potential City Government position (a very high profile position) and your illicit activities apart.

    SADEM stance on the dismissal of State v. Vernon Fitzgerald

    The San Andreas Democratic Party has been following the latest developments in the situation regarding the dismissal of State v. Vernon Fitzgerald case.

     

    We have seen the Press Releases of the Los Santos Police Protective League, the Association for Los Santos Deputy Sheriffs, the San Andreas Correctional Peace Offcers Association, et cetera as well as the District Attorney's Office response on the matter, informing the public that JSID is looking into the case.

     

    In high profile cases such as this, it is imperative to undertake every effort possible to ensure that Justice is swiftly and accurately served. As such, we expect to see swift and accountable action from the JSID, in order to restore faith in the DAO's integrity and adherence to not only proper Judicial procedures, but also to seeing to that Justice is served. We expect to see accountability and corrective actions, not just blame shifting.

     

    In the event of an unsatisfactory conclusion, it is our duty as representatives of the people to act upon it.
