Crazys 13 were a predominantly Latino street gang based in Los Santos' Mirror Park community. The gang was most active during the 1990s when 67% of the neighborhood lived below the federal poverty threshold. However, since then the suburb has undergone radical transformation and now only small pockets of public housing remain. Mirror Park is, in fact, one of the most gentrified communities in the entire city. The area's Latino population declined by 70% during the area's development. Gentrification, displacement, and citywide efforts to crack down on East Los Santos gang activity are some of the reasons why Crazys 13 splintered and disbanded. Others include drug overdoses, incarceration, and the murders of active members. This thread follows the development of one of the gang's former members, Bryan Robles. Bryan Robles entered the San Andreas Youth Authority for a murder when he was 14. Now released, Robles is hopelessly addicted to heroin and has had no luck reintegrating back into society. Lacking emotional maturity, Bryan continues to act as though Crazys 13 were still active and in their prime, and seems ignorant to the significant improvements that have taken place in Mirror Park during his absence.
