The game starts me as a generic character in a random spot on the map.

nope, i waited like 10 mins before closing the game. Nothing. -
When i start the game i start in a random place on the map as a generic character. The "Welcome to GTA World" text top right is present as well as some custom buildings on the map. What could be the problem?
