Joseph Navaez is a 13 year old Puerto Rican, who lives with both of his parents in a low income housing on Roy Lowenstein Blvd, Joseph is the youngest out of two siblings. He has two older sisters, Maria who is eighteen and Julissa who is sixteen. Growing up with both parents Joseph came from a good family, both parents are able to provide for Joseph as they only want the best of him, Growing up Joseph always wanted to tag along with both his sisters but they usually refuse due to him being such a young age so most the time Joseph would play outside with the local kids around the area, being young and influenced easily by older kids Joseph parents majority of the time keeps him on punishment due to the wrong decisions he makes.
