  1. Gotta agree with the above! Sure I was confused at first because why can't I get more bullets just because I need them, but then again I do hunt myself, I bought around 50(or 80 idk) long range ammo myself and I've only used 10, maybe 15 of that ammo? It's not really needed, especially for guards. I too am a cop and I've never ever used my CCW gun off duty. I don't see why a guard would need it. A gun could only be a guard's last resort, not the first resort.

  2. Very much agree! I found it very painful when I first joined because I thought /alpr was strictly not allowed and instead tried to read the plates through the FPS camera. Thing is, doing that on a Scout gives you absolutely no opportunity to read jack shit as you’re too high from the ground, and if you drive back your low graphics won’t let you read the plate and while you’re squinting at the plate, suspect’s either already left you in the dust, or shot you dead. Or laughing at himself that you’re taking so long to write your /r of the traffic stop. The command’s very useful and doesn’t allow us to metagame what’s on the ALPR! Nice yes? We’re always accused of having oh so many advantages, but here we are asking to have something nerfed/removed for us! So cool.

  3. Hi! I’ll probably be repeating others’ arguments here but when you talk about LEOs having an advantage using mics and criminals don’t, do you ever stop to think what would happen if criminals did use mics? I’ll gladly let you know! Suicide vehicles ramming us off the street risking jail time and even probably death just because their “homie” has to make off with his handgun and 3 grams of cocaine. Us being led into ambushes and having a whole department die, as if it doesn’t already happen without them being in VOIP. Criminals have the element of surprise, that’s always a one up on LEO RPers, every time.
Not to mention that we, I can talk about LSSD, are very limited in our vehicle choices, Victors and Scouts, which can barely keep up with any of the better car models, even the Torrence outruns them in a straight line. We don’t use Buffalos for patrol anymore and Torrences are limited to Traffic units that are rather rare. So that’s yet another disadvantage. We are also not allowed to drive like maniacs and any unit that is not directly behind the suspect has to stay on the correct lane and all that, so it’s pretty easy for other units to lose the lead unit. Also, take into account that it’s a huge map. We can’t remember where every street is so we sometimes struggle to coordinate and we are mostly chasing the suspects alone for ~5 minutes before someone comes to our aid, which is enough time to lose us if you have the skill. Also! We use TS as a strictly IC chat, especially in pursuits. I’ve had to see suspects’ /me lines of them pulling guns and not report it because my character shouldn’t be able to see it, and ended up getting shot in the head. Did I mention that criminals have the element of surprise already? If I did here it is again. I don’t want to count how many times suspects just stop, exit the vehicle 2, 3 deep and shoot you in the face to speed away after because they were carrying 5 grams of cocaine and thought for some reason you’d search them for it.
Right! So I only see TS as a small replacement for /r when and only when we’re in pursuits, be it foot or vehicle pursuits. Having us press hotkeys is really just getting us to stall ourselves, as menus like X for example sometimes take ages to pop up because of connection issues. Plus, lag or desync! I could be in idk, Hawick Avenue and the thing shows me in Spanish Avenue. Do you see where me and other LEO RPers come from? As for the abuse argument, I’m not saying that we’re not at fault sometimes, but shit happens and sometimes the words just slip out of your mouth as you’re really just speaking as you think, you don’t gotta think before you speak like when you’re writing. Sure it has to be enforced by supervisors and all that, but it will never be so black and white, people will always find loopholes around that.
On top of that, don’t fix what’s not broken. The usage of a mic has been a thing since early SAMP RP days and if it really had to be changed they would have done it. But it really brings more positives than negatives to the table, so it’s stuck with LEO RPers for this long.

  4. Date of incident: 10/AUG/2022

Rules broken: 1(failure to RP a crash multiple times), 3(metagaming via VOIP).

    Your ingame name: Richard Penner

Names of witnesses (if applicable): Renee Fischer( @Conway ).

Explanation of the incident (500 word limit): Hello! I'll keep this report nice and short. I gave chase to this Dilettante after he started evading and called for backup. During the evasion, the vehicle had multiple TCs, or rather crashes with objects on the road mostly, some being very severe to their vehicle. Mask_84B17_18 was the driver and he RPed none of those crashes and their severity. You should definitely look at their vehicle's state in the video evidence I've provided, it's a sight! He then goes to drive more recklessly as the chase continues and eventually pulls a few GTA Online stunts, like going up a curb at 100+ mph and flying, landing and still driving. During this chase, somewhere around the end, his friend, who I'm very certain he was on TS/Discord/VOIP app with, attempts to cut me and Renee Fischer off at an alleyway where he was parked, which Mask_84B17_18 just so happened to enter. Both were in Dilettantes, both silver cars. Coincidence? I think not! After a last crash with a freeway barrier, which I would consider fatal, at least for his vehicle, he continues driving and I bug out and can't enter my vehicle for a bit, so he makes off on us and we lose him. After that I came to post the report as I found that behavior too absurd.

Evidence: I'll upload 2 YouTube videos at first, which both conclude the whole chase, but I will also be posting streamables of the very moments he crashes in so you won't have to watch the whole 15 minute chase lads.

Youtube(first video keeps uploading on 360p, nothing I can do about it):

  5. Right! Things were pretty heated and I was very pissed off that all of you jumped and punched on my cruiser and we had been getting people around the same area jumping back and forth in front of us to try and stop the chase, so I assumed that was you and reported you at the end. It's been a very long time and I don't very much care about the outcome of the report anymore, so it is what it is I guess!

  6. OR! Hear me out! Gang members, especially M dudes can do less violent crimes and use bats and shanks and fists to beat each other up over territory or whatever disputes they have instead of shooting up whole blocks and risking dying or taking a 10 year charge for murder. Shooting up a block can make sense when you’re aiming for higher profile members bro, not when a 15 year old M made a slight reference about your crackhead mother. I feel like those characters don’t face enough consequences, let alone lower their jail time. If we do that the whole Davis area will be utter chaos. It’s bad as is.

  7. Date of incident: 11/07/2022

    Rules broken: Common Courtesy(1); Powergaming(2).

    Your ingame name: Richard Penner.

Names of witnesses (if applicable): Antonio Ruiz, David Ibrahim.

Explanation of the incident (500 word limit): Me, Antonio Ruiz and David Ibrahim had been chasing a black Dilettante for a little more than 10 minutes, in separate cars and for some reason the Dilettante kept circling that same area. These guys were present there however only one of them in a bike tried to stop our pursuit by using his bike and putting his life at risk, however I assume that's irrelevant to the report. Anyway, the last time we pass through that same area we see the guys trolling and screwing around out on the road, and running to create a human roadblock for the guy in the Dilettante, who did not hesitate and ran one over. Immediately the scene turned into a trolling fest and that's where we decided to cut off the pursuit. The guys started jumping around the scene going the signature "lmaoooo" on /b and doing gangsigns; punching our cars and all sorts of trolling you can expect really. To top it all, before I could so much as request an admin on scene, the guys just straight up /helpup the friend that got ran over at nearly 100 mph and he just walks away like nothing happens. I know it's early and I like to screw around with my friends as much as the next guy, but I never do it to fuck with someone else's RP scene. These guys just straight up screwed up the whole pursuit and continued to laugh in our face about it. It's frustrating when you're trying to take these scenes serious. I'll be posting evidence with no sound as we were on TeamSpeak during the chase, I will send unedited evidence to an admin if requested.

The average gang-banging teen fights one another on a daily basis and are always on their guard, filled with adrenaline... war is always on their mind as they are prepared for combat on any occasion, especially during war-time. It is completely different from your average 30 year-old that sits at a bar all day and gets drunk.

Key-word is average... in this world, though, everyone is a body-builder.

I agree brother. I can now rest easy, knowing where the average 16 year old kid finds the courage to turn into a killing machine and ambush numerous cops with his best mates. War is always on their mind. Jesus Christ I almost shed a tear. Draft them for the war!

Look at that last sentence you wrote. Key word average. Those are average kids, not body builders. I don't care if they have combat or nuclear war on their mind, they don't have the physical or mental strength to do that stuff. They gotta chill out, getting DMed every night by (M)s is why I stopped patrolling Davis. It's not fun, it's a chore with those guys.

    This.

It isn't relative to age as much as it is relative to skill and training. A 30 year-old that drinks beer all day and doesn't hit the gym would struggle to compete against a 16 year-old that fights on a daily basis and probably programs with the older heads.

As L.A. said, maybe reserve it to 13-15 year-olds.

I very much agree brother! Because every (M) in this server regularly trains for MMA and hits the gym for 3 hours every day(ghetto kids, mind you)! At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they did. Makes sense to me, please do not buff (M) characters. Instead, lower the punching dmg for 30 year olds who don't hit the gym.
