Like I said earlier, Tony was killed at the quiet backlot of our trucking depot while was on shift which was extremely spontaneous. It wasn't that Tony was sent at the store to collect cash and he never returned, that'd still be somewhat feasible at least. But this kill was out of nowhere at another business we commonly worked at. So it seems the request was built upon with wrong facts and evident metagaming.

It's not about appealing the CK. It's about reviewing the facts that were presented, and MG'd in the process.
I'm done with my character, and I'm sure Adrian is as well at this point.
Doesn't change the fact on how you guys didn't ask them how they trace the PK back to Adrian. If they simply said "this outsider / associate just disappeared, we knew we had problems with the store we're extorting" and it's deemed appropriate for a CK without asking how they actually established a connection, not sure what else to add here.-

Jareen had his business smashed up, he knew his employee was kidnapped and shamed to shit because of the mob. He knew Adrian reached out to the cops so his life was in trouble. He was already a broken man, on top of this he ran into opportunity spontaneously to kill Ricci at the backlot of the trucking company they work at, where there would be absolutely no way the rest of his crew could trace this back to Jareen.So how exactly does Ricci going missing connect to Jareen or the liquor store specifically when you had no basis to prove this AT ALL? So if you didn't think this was possible, why did you even still assume it to be Adrian behind this? You're just contradicting yourself to find weak reasons to cover up. This on it's own clearly shows you guys MG'd the death of Ricci.
Now for your information, Adrian didn't have anything to do with the death. On the other hand, Jareen wasn't directly working with LEO. It was Adrian.
As I keep saying the death was out of the blue & my character snapped because a perfect opportunity was painted in his head. He was a broken man with not much to lose and it was a perfect scene.
An up and coming mobster could die for a deal gone wrong. For trying to make a name for himself doing something that didn't exactly go as planned. Maybe he rubbed a few wrong guys who he didn't tell the rest of the crew about. This should be the last thing I should be explaining to someone RP'ing OC or IFM for that matter.
C'mon lets be real the reason "He went missing after us trying to extort a store" makes no sense and is simply horrible to connect the dots. Surely not when you go around extorting stores left and right. I'm ashamed of IFM not even questioning the individuals on how they trace the PK back to Jareen before approving the CK.

Cmon thats just matter of a few days, none will advert after it. I think you can handle those adverts just for few days.
Altho, what I think is they should not be allowed to advert for their party or candidates few days before from actual election date.

I agree with you at some part, LSPD is most active faction in my timezone as compared to other factions. I belong to Indian timezone (GMT +5:30) can play from 4AM till 5-6PM in game time, could go till 7 on weekends. Being in Asian timezone, if you can't stay in front of your screen till late nights (around 2-4AM IRL time) you won't be able to play faction RP, specially illegal one. LSPD remains the only option there, you can also try other legal factions such as SD or FD since legal factions are available at most of the times. In addition, people tend to do criminal activities at these times only when player count and cop count is very much low.
But there will always be some unlucky days when you wont be even able to find LSPD. My character got robbed a couple of times when 90-100 people were there in the server, none responds you on 991.

This will be a total time waste in my opinion, even for staffs. While, they can already get logs, teleport or etc. If they see some char aged less than 18 gets involved in ERP. Instead of writing a wall of text in application then waiting to get approved, why don't take care of your character and don't involve him/her in ERP or any under age activity? Issue solved, right?
And yeah, there are already lots of things which are taken care by staffs, I don't think they gotta add more burden on themselves for this small little thing. Like, you have to wait for days (sometimes for weeks if you are not lucky) to get answer on your requests. So, staffs are already doing tons of things.

Thing is, OOC and IC are two different entities, early you remember it would be good for you. But yeah, as Flow said you gotta be bigger man and let it happen, but just take care for next time, at least you will be learning something from the situation which you can keep in your head. I was being nice to everyone OOCly and ICly when I was new here, but you really can't do anything, just learn from past situations and be careful about it next time.
At the end, we all are playing a game.

Avoiding some group of people means avoiding RP? Nice understanding, you can avoid them RPly, like if someone is irritating you, you wanna avoid him, what you do? Call cops right? So ultimately he is RPing with cops..
But in extortion case, so you guys yourself are saying theres no way to win over extorts..
Yeah, someone pointed out few ways, which were..
1. Hiding?
Extort people can easily get one's information. If you are hiding, as a result you wont be able to open your business. So, business man loose here..
2. Security..
Okay, suppose some business paid to security and got them. Extorters will somehow get information about business owner and start finding him. They can easily pick him up when ever they see him outside his business and can CK him easily..
3. Cops..
Duh, I never saw any business person reporting to cops and getting a win over extorters, by doing this, he is approving his own CK. Maybe extort people can have some cops under them? Who knows?
