In January 2024, a joint operation conducted by both LSSD and LSPD's gang enforcement details resulted in several raids across Davis, precisely on Brouge and Grove Streets, as well as the Charleston Housing Projects, targeting alleged drug traffickers affiliated with the local Pirus. As a result, several individuals, some of them documented members of the West Side Grove Street Pirus, were arrested on drug trafficking charges. Notable gang member Stephon Peake, along with Clarence Williams, stand accused of drug trafficking charges. 

 

Sources tell us the group had just recently established itself as the authority around Davis, especially the Davis Gas Station, for the purpose of drug trafficking. Since the operation, the local Pirus have been severely weakened and cannot claim anymore authority to their previously held drug markets.
